Abstract
Malnutrition as poor nutritional status indicator, several times was mentioned relate to death and is a common problem that leads or worsted another complication such as anemia in many diseases, including tuberculosis. The complexity of morbidity and complications in TB patients will certainly have an impact on the length of stay and the patient's clinical outcome. High variation findings related to the conditions that influence TB clinical process, making the need for a specific study to be carried out about anemia and malnutrition, to obtain the evidence about them specially in TB clinical care process, so that the clinical care process can be focused on conditions that really have a big impact on usage of resources and reduced mortality. This study used a cross-sectional design. Data was collected used documentation checklist as research instrument, from main referral hospital medical record and surveillance database period 2016-2019 in the Special Region of Yogyakarta province, obtain 561 samples. Univariate analysis was performed through descriptive statistics and association analysis used chi-square test. The statistical test showed p-value=0.00 between nutritional status toward anemia-linked tuberculosis and discharges status, but p-value=3.03 toward sex of patient. This study concludes there was significant association between nutritional status toward anemia (1.94 riskier into anemia) and discharges status (1.61fold higher risk into death) but shown insignificant association toward sex of patient
