O museu de imagens do inconsciente : visibilidade, exposições e a desmistificação da loucura

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade de Ciência da Informação, 2021.O trabalho buscou entender a intersecção entre arte, loucura e instituições psiquiátricas. Para isso, foi analisada a forma de difusão da produção artística dos artistas no ateliê de pintura e modelagem até a sua inserção no Museu de Imagens do Inconsciente, procurando entender as suas particularidades. Foram abordadas as principais exposições que ocorreram no MII e internacionalmente. Por fim, foram apresentadas a história e as ideias da fundadora, Dra. Nise da Silveira, e dos outros colaboradores do seu trabalho. Nise da Silveira foi responsável pela criação de diversas oficinas terapêuticas, entre as quais os ateliês de pintura e de modelagem no Centro Psiquiátrico Pedro II, no Rio de Janeiro, em 1946. Em 1956, foi fundada a Casa das Palmeiras, clínica pioneira em regime de externato. Em 1969, o grupo de estudos C. G. Jung foi criado formalmente.The work sought to understand the intersection between art, madness and psychiatric institutions. For this, the way of diffusion of the artists' artistic production in the painting and modeling studio was analyzed until their insertion in the Museum of Images of the Unconscious, trying to understand their particularities. The main exhibitions that took place at the MII and internationally were discussed. Finally, the story and ideas of the founder, Dr. Nise da Silveira and the other collaborators of her work were presented.
