Analysis of nautical tourism ports in Croatia

Abstract

Nautical tourism, as one of the specific forms of tourism, is of great importance, mostly in Europe, more precisely in the Mediterranean, but also in the Republic of Croatia. As a form of recreation, sports and leisure, nautical tourism ports have a great influence on the development of the economy of a country, in this case, Croatia. Whatever the type of nautical tourism port it is, it is important to determine measures and goals through certain strategic and action plans that will encourage investment in infrastructure, vessels, organization of work in ports, organization of activities for boaters, increase and improvement of the offer for boaters. etc. It is also important to determine the pricing strategy of these ports so that products and services are in line with prices. In this way, the users of nautical tourism ports will be retained, and they will increase their spending in ports, thus closing the circle by then reinvesting in the development of nautical tourism ports
