Mariculture alumni of CMFRI to meet The Hindu dated 28th March 2017

Abstract

Mariculturists who have finished their academic programmes at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) will converge at the institute on April 8 and 9 as part of celebrating 37 years of mariculture research and development. A press release from CMFRI said the institute, in collaboration with Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat), had offered MSc and PhD programmes in mariculture from 1979 to 1993. Over 200 postgraduate and doctoral students obtained degrees from CMFRI, and they are now serving the country as policy makers, research managers, research scientists, industrialists, bankers, entrepreneurs, and teachers
