Korefasi Skor SOFA dengan Kadar Laktat Darah dan C-Reactive Protein pada Pasien Sepsis

Abstract

-This study aims to observe the relationship between SOFA score, blood lactate level and CRP level in sepsis patients in the ICU. Lactate measurement is c component of the sepsis resuscitation bundle after diagnosis is confirmed, while CRP is an acute phase protein, which level is increased in inflammatory processes. The experts suggested that there is :orrelation between SOFA score with blood lactate and CRP levels in septic patients in the ICU. SOFA ???core is used because it has simpler components compared with A PA CHE and SAPS scores to evaluate multiple organ failure, which is a clinical pattern of :he continuous and progressive organ dysfunction. This study is a cross sectional study that included 54 samples, using consecutive sampling technique. Routine assessments were done for vital signs, GCS, and laboratory tests including white blood cells count, platelet count, total bilirubin, creatinin, blood gas analysis, and CRP. SOFA score were evaluated for each sample. The results of this study show a positive correlation between SOFA score and both blood lactate and CRP level in sepsis patients in the ICU. Patients in the ICU have mean SOFA score of 7.89, with most of the patients having grade II organ dysfunction with mean lactate level and CRP level 4. 05 mmol/L and 133.9 mg/dL, respectively Organ system that have profound effect on the blood lactate ???evel and CRP in sepsis patients is cardiovascular r~0,767 and r=0,504 with p=0,002).(Maj Ked Ter hit ens if 2012; 2(4): 183 - 90
