Meeting with the German Crown Prince in World War I; personal recollections of Goetz's experiences as journalist; history of German journalism 1870-1933 with special emphasis on the Ullstein and Mosse publishing houses; short account of the history of Jewish press in Germany; biographical sketch of Joseph Pulitzer.Fritz Goetz was born in Breslau in 1876. He was chief editor at the Ullstein publishing house and long-time chairman of the "Kommunalpolitische Pressekonferenz" Berlin.
