Sledování kvality vody toku Trnava

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with monitoring water quality in the river Trnava within the year 2014. The first part consists of a literature overview relating to the issue of surface water and the characteristics of the monitored watercourse. The second part presents the techniques of monitoring and evaluation of results. During monitoring, the following water quality parameters were measured in the field: pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and temperature. Simultaneously water sample was taken for chemical analyses in a laboratory, in which the content of sulphate, nitrate nitrogen and total phosphorus was determined. The obtained values were evaluated according to CSN 75 7221 Classification of surface water quality and also compared with the values of permissible pollution of surface water Environmental Quality Standards in Government Regulation no. 61/2003
