Design of an Information System Part for a Specific Company

Abstract

This thesis focuses on improving the effectiveness of information systems within the company Ramirent s.r.o., which is a part of the construction machinery rental business. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to this area of study, and continues with an analysis of the current state in the aforementioned company. The key part of this thesis is a design proposal for a new information system that meets the demands of the company, and integrates all currently used information systems into one cohesive system
