TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV

Abstract

The design composes of two masses, which create the shape of letter L on the corner lot on the crossroads of Brabansko street and Malá Dlážka street.The free space of the lot is corner-oriented, thus creating a square. The main establishment in the building is a low treshold centre. Low treshold could be understood as a place without barriers on social, financial, spacial and psychological etc. level. The centre offers meaningful free time usage, possibilities for skills development, social bonds and meeting between different social groups. Non-profit organisations run the individual activities. The centre is mainly aimed at children and teenagers, but also at other groups like seniors. A small gallery and a hall is included in the facility and create a potencial for visits of general public. Parterre includes café and a consulting room. Another facility is starter appartments with 7 flats and it is situated in a detached building
