Abstract
This work deals with the possibilities of small current amplification to measure the concentration of air ions using the Aspiration condenser method. The work analyzes the connection containing precision operational amplifiers and the air ions measurement method. Two amplifiers, namely an instrumentation amplifier containing an integrated circuit INA116 recording the voltage drop on shunt and a current to voltage converter, have been designed and created to measure ion concentrations. The results of measurement show that using the instrumentation amplifier means lower measurement uncertainties of type A measurement than when using the current to voltage converter
