Patterns, typology and methodology of dealing with traffic accidents at intersections controlled by a system of light signals

Abstract

The present contribution a very open and inclusive manner, deals with the issue of traffic accidents at intersections controlled by a system of light signals. The complexity of this type of accidents is in considerable overlap of the issue also in the field of construction and traffic engineering, automation technology and law. Therefore be adequately cited excerpts of the relevant legal provisions and technical standards. Although the expert is not authorized to speak to the legal issues, but nothing prevents the author freely within the post ponder interdisciplinary contexts. The paper deals with, among others, the standard control modes and fault conditions of traffic lights and practically demonstrates the use of electronic data registered on the activities of traffic lights (OCIT protocol, operating, servicing and fault log).Unit II of this paper deals mainly with typologies, experience, methodology, solutions, investigations and case reports of accidents at intersections controlled by a system of light signals
