Adaptor for the Group Delay Measuring

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to propose the adaptor for the group delay measuring. This equipment would be worked as one special device, which it connects between wobble generator (for example wobbler X1-50) and measured circuit. This configuration can be measured not only the dependence of group delay on frequency at the measured circuit, but it can be measured even its amplitude - frequency characteristics. Whatever oscilloscope can be used for displaying of measured characteristics in the event of the application of other separate wobble generator, when the oscilloscope works in XY mode. The utilization of the equipment can be for example for the group delay measuring of intermediate frequency amplifiers by TV sets at frequency band since 30 MHz to 50 MHz. This equipment is able to measure the group delay time within the range since 0.56 ns to 2 s
