Manufacture and use of high-alloy steel castings

Abstract

This thesis includes material issue-knowledge of stainless steel cast. In the first part of thesis are analysed the causes of corrosion, its impact on metal material and is explained the creation of corrosion resistance.The next part of thesis introduces separation of stainless steel based on structure and chemical composition, explains its properties and its possibilities of using in practise. The thesis also explain some production processes of the stainless steel cast. In the final part of thesis are illustrated some possibilities of using stainless steel in practise
