Energy use of biomass

Abstract

The point of this bachelor thesis is to make out a retrieval for energy use of biomass. In the first part, there is a description of basic energy features of biofuels, which influence their use as an energy source. There is also listed a description of some technologies for production of energy from biomass. The second part of the thesis is dealt with using biomass in cogeneration. Even that there is a description of some cogeneration systems presently use in any energy applications. In the trird part, there is made out a comparation of expensiveness of using conventional unit with natural gas combustion and using a units with biofuel combustion
