玉荷包荔枝花性之研究

Abstract

本研究調查'玉荷包'荔枝求同生長勢結果枝及修剪花穗對小花花性之影響。結果顯示偏雌花開放高峰主要在始花後12~20天，而雄花開放高峰則在始花後20~32天，小花開放天數為36~44天。結果枝生長勢及中者之小花數明顯較弱者多，而偏雌花比率則以結果枝之12.1%最高，中結果枝及弱結果枝分別為9.5%及9.2%。花穗基部之小花數目較中部及頂部多，其偏雌花比率為14.3%，較中部之12.3%及頂部之10.2%高。花穗經修剪後能有效提高偏雌花比率，且延長偏雌花之開放天數12~16天。Effects of different vigorous shoot and panicle pruning on sex expression of ‘Yu Her Pau' litchi were studied. The results showed that the peak blooming period of female and male flower occurred about 12~20days and 20~32 days after the first flower opened, respectively. The whole blooming period could last for 36~44 days. The flower number in strong or normal vigorous shoots were higher than that in weak vigorous shoots. Strong vigorous shoot had 12.1% female flowers, wile normal and weak vigorous shoot only had 9.5% and 9.2%, respectively. The number of flower at the basal was higher than those at the middle and the distal portions of panicle. The basal portion of panicle had 14.3%female flowers, whereas the middle and distal portions only had 12.3% and 10.2%, respectively.
