Studies on Shoot Tip Culture of Guava(Psidium guajava L.)in Vitro

在廿世紀拔及泰國拔新梢生長旺盛期,採取長約5cm頂部,切取約0.5cm大小帶4片葉原體的生長點,經過抗褐化預措處理後,植人1/2MS添加0.1mg/l IBA、0.5mg/l BA及30g/l sucrose 之紙橋液態培養基進行初代培養,經過30日後可獲得分別為80%及70%之成活率,其平均大小為4.3mm及2.6mm,而平均鮮重為12.6mg及6.7mg。The media and methods affecting the growth in vitro of cultuvars for guava, 20 the Century and Thailand were studied to establish a micropropagation system for local guvav cultivar.\ud Shoot tips were harvested about 5cm in length from actively growth plants and shoot apices were excised about 0.5mm height for initial culture. The hightest survival percentage was acheieved when shoot apices cultured on the paper bridge medium with 1/2 strength of Murashige and Skoog (MS) containing 0.1mg/1 IBA, 0.5mg/l BA and 30g/l sucrose for 30days. The survival percentage of Psidium guajava L. cv. 20th century and cv. Thailand was 80% and 70%, the averade size was 4.3mm and 2.6mm and the fresh weight was 12.6mg and 6.7mg respectively
