少葉薑原本僅記錄產於屏東笠頂山區，本文記錄少葉薑於臺灣的兩處新分佈點。文中除描述少葉薑的形態特徵外，並提供本種之線描圖與彩色照片以供鑑定之用。Zingiber oligophyllum K. Schumann was recorded in only one location in Mt. Liting, Pingtung. Two newly distribution areas of Zingiber oligophyllum K. Schumann were recorded in this article.
