Abstract

Pycnogonids, popularly known as sea\ud spiders, are a strange group of entirely\ud marine arthropods belonglng to the phylum\ud Arthropoda and class Pycnogonida (Gr.\ud pyknos = crowded; gony = knee), which\ud means 'knobby knees'. They are more\ud closely relaled 10 spiders rather than to\ud crustaceans (shrimps, lobsters, etc)
