Statistical nature of the impulse electric current influence on the mechanical properties of metals

Abstract

З використанням статистичної моделі «навантаження - міцність» проаналізовано результати вимірів мікротвердості вихідних та оброблених імпульсним електричним струмом зразків із металічних матеріалів. Показано, що обробка струмом призводить до зменшення розсіювання мікротвердості матеріалів, що може бути в основі пояснення підвищення їх міцності, яке спостерігається при такій обробці.The results of micro hardness measurements of the initial and electric current treated specimens from series of metals were analyzed using the statistical model “loading – strength”. It is shown, that electric current treatment leads to the reduction of micro hardness scattering. This can be a reason of their strength enhancing which accompanies above treatment
