Abstract

Relata um estudo sobre a música composta durante a Era Vargas no período entre 1930 e 1954. Lista onze músicas compostas no período proposto com seus respectivos autores e interpretes. Utiliza as músicas como fonte de informação para a realização do estudo. Resume os acontecimentos históricos e relaciona as composições no contexto histórico. Analisa, de forma empírica, as letras das canções e os fatos à que se referem com relação à história. Investiga as formas de representações sociais que se aplicam aos acontecimentos. Elabora um mapa conceitual sobre as representações encontradas nas composições. Traça um paralelo entre os fatos, as composições e a memória social. Identifica as representações das canções através de palavras-chave. Conclui que a música é uma importante fonte de informação para o reconhecimento das representações sociais e formação da memória social através de suas letras.It reports a study on musical compositions during the President Vargas's government between 1930 and 1954.
