THE IMAGE OF DUBROVNIK IN VOJNOVIĆ`S "EKVINOCIJO", "DUBROVAČKA TRILOGIJA" AND "MAŠKARATE ISPOD KUPLJA"

Abstract

Rad donosi predstavljene značajke stvaralaštva hrvatskog književnika Ive Vojnovića s naglaskom na književno-teorijsku i sadržajnu analizu triju drama dubrovačkog kruga: Ekvinocijo, Dubrovačku trilogiju i Maškarate ispod kuplja. Slika Dubrovnika stvarana je impresionističkim opisima eksterijera, secesionističkim i realističkim opisima interijera, naturalističkim opisima obiteljske uvjetovanosti, romantičarskom kronikom propasti aristokracije te modernističkim osvrtom na pojavu iseljeništva te emancipaciju žena. Stvarajući sliku Dubrovnika autor se koristio razrađenim proznim didaskalijama i efektnim dramskim dijalozima, žargonskim razlikama u jeziku likova, intermedijalnošću, intertekstualnošću te osobnim sjećanjima na Grad i tipične mu staleške predstavnike.This paper brings concise features about Croatian writer Ivo Vojnović with an emphasis on the literary theory and plot analisis of three dramas of the Dubrovnik's circle: Ekvinocijo, Dubrovačka trilogija and Maškarate ispod kuplja. The image of Dubrovnik has been created with Impressionistic descriptions of the exterior, Secessionist and Realistic descriptions of the interior, Naturalistic descriptions of family conditioning, a Romantic chronicle of the downfall of the aristocracy and a Modern view of the emergence of emigration and women’s emancipation. Creating the image of Dubrovnik, the author used elaborated prose didascalia and effective dramatic dialogues, jargon differences in the language of the characters, intermedia, intertextuality and personal memories of the City with it’s typical stale representatives
