Kolika je važnost nastavničke pedagogije u glazbenom obrazovanju mladog violinista danas?

Abstract

The topic of this Master's thesis was chosen primarily because of my own intrigue about the pedagogy of music. Since always I have had a great interest in the history of the violin, the ways of teaching it, and the various types of realizing specific requirements in technique. Throughout this text I attempt to do a historical analisys of the violin techique belonging to different schools in different time periods, as well as to examine their development and assess their relevance in today's musical education. This research is based on a comparative approach between the didactic materials of this various violin schools, not only focusing on the technical details of the instruction system, but also taking into consideration the pedagogical aspects of the emission and reception of knowledge, as well as the primary role that the relationship between tutor and apprentice, both as actors and creators, plays in the improvement process. Further ahead I engage in an analysis of the national musical education plan and programm in the Republic of Croatia, emphasizing on the contrasts that I find in relation to its pedagogical concerns on one side and on the other side those expressed in the principles of the perennial violin tradition
