Abstract

This is the newsletter of the New Jersey Pinelands Commission, which administers the Pinelands Comprehensive Management Plan. The Commission works to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural and cultural resources of the Pinelands National Reserve, and to encourage compatible economic and other human activities consistent with that purpose. This issue features the following articles: Commission approves new executive director; Commission responds to EHT students; Environmental Policy and Education Center gets approvals; State begins buying PDCs; Septic Committee looks for alternatives in the Pinelands; Scenic Byways plan a natural solution for Pinelands towns; and Staff Spotlight.Summer 200
