Abstract

Huvudtemat för min studie är ägarkommunikation. Den handlar om hur Lantmännen, som svenskt lantbrukskooperativ, ska kunna förbättra sin kommunikation till nuvarande och kommande medlemmar. Lantmännen vill kommunicera mer och bättre, med främst primärintressenter (ägare/medlem). För att närma mig problemet har jag utfört djupintervjuer med personer på andra föreningar inom den gröna näringen och jämfört deras arbetsmetoder kring ägarkommunikation med Lantmännens (benchmarking). För att bilda mig en uppfattning om hur kommunikationen på Lantmännen ser ut idag och vilka behov som behövs tillgodoses i framtiden utfördes även djupintervjuer med förtroendevalda på Lantmännen. Det har framkommit under arbetets gång att tid, värdering och trovärdighet har betydelse för kommunikationens kraft, såväl som intresse och metoden för kommunikation. Det väsentliga är att informationen som kommuniceras till primärintressenten behöver förtydligas. Avslutningsvis presenteras en åtgärdsplan baserad på resultatet av studien.The main theme of my study is owner-communication. It’s about how Lantmännen, as a Swedish agricultural cooperative, can improve their communication to current and potential members. Lantmännen wants to communicate with both quantity and quality, with especially the primary stakeholders (owner/member). To approach the problem, I have performed interviews with other actors within the agricultural and forestry sector and compared their practices regarding owner-communications with Lantmännens (benchmarking). To understand how the communication at Lantmännen is today and what the needs are in the future interviews with elected officials at Lantmännen were important. It has emerged during the process that time, judgment and credibility is important for the success in communication, as well as the interest and the method of communication. The most essential part is that the information communicated to the primary stakeholders need to be clear. Finally an action plan is presented based on the results of the study
