PERSEPSI MAHASISWA JURUSAN AKUNTANSI TENTANG FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PEMILIHAN KARIR SEBAGAI AKUNTAN PENDIDIK BERDASARKAN GENDER

Abstract

Student accounting has a variety of considerations for choosing a career that would be suffered. The factors which affected it consists of a financial award, professional training, professional recognition, social values, working environment, job market considerations and personality. By knowing the perceptions of student accounting about the factors that influence them in the selection of a career as an accountant educators based on gender and any student of accounting that will plunge into the world of work can be more prepared to undergo a career as an accountant he choose educators. This research aims to find out the difference of perception between the student accounting about the factors that influence them in the selection of a career as an accountant educators based on sex. This research is taken as a sample of purposive sampling, which determination of technique done by taking the subject chosen correct by researchers according to specific requirements. As for the subject is chosen to be the respondent is an undergraduate student of accounting and have to qualify certain students after four semesters. While the data analysis techniques using non-parametric test Mann Whitney Test. Test results revealed that there was no significant difference or equivalence between the accounting student perception of sex of men and women with respect to the factors of financial awards, professional training, professional recognition, social values, working environment, market considerations and work as an accountant in the personality of educators.
