Nitrile-rich borates and aluminates as building blocks for coordination polymers and ionic liquids

Abstract

In der vorliegenden Dissertation wurde die Chemie von Salzen mit nitrilreichen Anionen des Typs [E(O‒C6H4‒CN)4]− (E = B, Al) grundlegend untersucht. Ausgehend von der Synthese dieser Salze M[E(O‒C6H4‒CN)4] (M = Li, Na, Cu, Ag; E = B, Al) und deren vollständiger Charakterisierung wurde die Möglichkeit zur Synthese von Koordinationspolymeren untersucht. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wurde das [Al(O‒C6H4‒CN)4]−-Anion zur Synthese von Ionischen Flüssigkeiten verwendet.This work deals with the chemistry of salts bearing nitrile-rich anions, that can be described by the general formula [E(O‒C6H4‒CN)4]− (E = B, Al). The usability of these anions in the design and synthesis of coordination polymers was investigated in detail and compounds of the type M[E(O‒C6H4‒CN)4] (M = Li, Na, Cu, Ag; E = B, Al) were fully characterized. In the second part of this work the syntheses of [Al(O‒C6H4‒CN)4]−-based ionic liquids is reported
