Podstawowe cechy współczesnej ideologii socjaldemokratycznej w Polsce

Abstract

The article aims to provide description of characteristic features of contemporary socialdemocraticideology in Poland. It analyzes main issues – germane to the general functioning ofPolish political scene – that concern this ideology directly, as well as the challenges it faces inPoland. Left‑wingparties’ agenda that in 2011 parliamentary elections managed to win a seat inthe Sejm (SLD, and Ruch Palikota) is the basic criterion in the analysis. The main purpose thuslies in providing answers to a research question, namely, what are the chances and methods ofrebuilding ideological credo by socialdemocratic parties in Poland
