    El texto aborda la poesía peruana del siglo XX desde un motivo, el caballo, en algunos de los poetas más importantes: González Prada, Eguren, Vallejo, Delgado, Belli, Pimentel y Mazzotti. Concomitantemente hace una cala en la poesía de Blanca Valera.This article focuses on the symbol of the horse in Peruvian poetry of the 20th century in some of the most renown poets: González Prada, Eguren, Vallejo, Delgado, Belli, Pimentel y Mazzotti. Additionally, the poetry of Blanca Vera is also discussed
