Components of a future engineer’s leadership stance

Abstract

У статті розглядається проблема формування лідерської позиції студентів під час навчально-виховного процесу у вищих технічних навчальних закладах. Проблема досліджується на основі проведеного педагогічного експерименту, в якому взяли участь студенти декількох технічних вузів міста Харкова. Дослідження містить визначення лідерської позиції майбутнього інженера. У роботі пропонується структура лідерської позиції, яка складається з чотирьох компонентів, і визначено їх співвідношення в структурі лідерської позиції студентів вищих технічних навчальних закладів. У статті підкреслюється важливість розгляду компонентів лідерської позиції не окремо, а в їх сукупності, щодо особистості інженера в цілому. Окреслено перспективи дослідження в цьому напрямку.The article presents disclosure of the problem of leadership stance formation in students in the course of training and education process at technical higher education establishments. The problem is researched on the basis of a pedagogic experiment conducted among students of several technical higher education establishments in Kharkiv. The research includes the definition of a future engineer’s leadership stance. There is also proposed the structure of leadership stance comprised of four components with subsequent identifying of the correlation of these components within the structure of leadership stance in students of technical higher education institutions. The author accentuates the importance of viewing the components of leadership stance not separately, but in their totality concerning an engineer’s personality in total. There are outlined the perspectives of research in this direction
