Original has a pencil inscription on top right: "Professor Whewell". Original is 28x37 cm.Engraving by W. Eldridge, of the temporary mounting of an achromatic refracting telescope belonging to Edward Joshua Cooper (1798-1863), it had a 14-inch object glass and a focal length of 25 feet
