    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah IPS SD yaitu melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran menggunakan Metode Kooperatif Model Jigsaw Ruang Kelas  A Semester I Jurusan PGSD  Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi keinginan peneliti untuk lebih meningkatkan kreativitas dan kualitas dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan IPS SD karena melihat dilapangan kretifitas dosen dalam pembelajaran masih konvensional dan monoton dan diikuti fenomena melemahnya kualitas peserta didik yang sangat terasa di tempat peneliti mengajar. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Ruang Kelas A Semester I Jurusan PGSD Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda yang berjumlah 50 orang mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes evaluasi, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan dari Miles dan Hubermen. Analisis data kualitatif adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang : 1) Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dengan Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif Model Jigsaw, 2) Aktivitas Belajar, 3) Respon mahasiswa, dan 4) Prestasi Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa

    This study aims to determine the factors that influence the discipline of teachers' work. The study population was 56 teachers of SMP Negeri scattered at 2 schools. Given the limited population, this study is a population study where the sample is the entire population of the State school teachers in Muara Jawa.The research method using correlation and regression. The study found that the variables that affect the discipline of teachers 'work is variable Principal Leadership (X1) at a very strong level of closeness, namely 0.912, teachers' work motivation (X2) with variable at a strong level of closeness, that is equal to 0.865.It is concluded that the increase in labor discipline teachers of SMP Negeri Muara Jawa Se can be done by improving the leadership of the principal and teachers work motivation. Researchers suggested that the relevant parties can make efforts to promote the leadership of the principal and teachers work motivation in order to achieve a good working discipline at teachers of SMP Negeri In Muara Jawa.Keywords : Leadership Principal, Teacher Work Motivation, Discipline Wor

    ANALISIS KESULITAN SISWA DALAM PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA PADA MATERI ARITMETIKA, ALJABAR, STATISTIKA, DAN GEOMETRI

     The aim of this research is to describe the percentage of class IX students of SMPN at Yogyakarta City who get difficulties in terms of the types of difficulty based on solving problem steps in all math materials and based on each material such as arithmetics, algebra, statistics and geometry. This research is included in survey research with quantitative approaches. The research result suggests that at diagnostic test of all materials, the percentage of students who have reading difficulty is 47.4%, comprehension difficulty 51.5%, transformation difficulty 74.3%, process skill difficulty 80.4%, and encoding difficulty 80.4%. For arithmetics materials the reading difficulty is 52,.6%, comprehension difficulty 68.1%, transformation difficulty 94.8%, process skill difficulty 95.8%, and encoding difficulty 95.8%. As for algebra materials the reading difficulty is 61.8%, comprehension difficulty 65.9%, transformation difficulty 77.3%, process skill difficulty 80.4%, and encoding difficulty 80.4%. For the statistics materials the reading difficulty is 54.6%, comprehension difficulty 54.6%, transformation difficulty 83.5%, process skill difficulty 91.7%, and encoding difficulty 91.7%.     PENGEMBANGAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SMK KESEHATAN SAMARINDA (KEANEKARAGAMAN HAYATI)

    This study aims to develop a demonstration method in learning biology on the    subject of biodiversity at SMK Kesehatan Samarinda. This study is a qualitative research . The research subjects were students of class XI. In this case, the researcher did not act as an executor of action research. The data were collected through observation and interviews. The data of student learning outcomes were obtained through tests and then they were analyzed up to getting the conclusion. The data analysis were used to obtain: (1) the implementation of learning through development of demonstration method application, (2) development of accurate demonstration methods  (3) student learning outcomes through the implementation of demonstration method development. The research results showed that: (1) The implementation of demonstration method development can help teachers to manage the classroom and to develop a method of learning itself, so that it becomes fun and teaching materials are more easily understood by the student, (2) The implementation of demonstration method development is able to improve  students’  learning outcomes which were indicated with an improvement in the number of students who experience learning comprehensivess of the implementation of the new demonstration method development phase I and phase II, (3) the development of demonstration methods is more effective  if it is conducted outside the classroom.  Thus, the implementation of demonstration method development is  effective to improve student learning outcomes

    The purpose of the research is to find out the implementation  base of active, creative and effective learning model on Islamic education subject through some aspects (1) context which covers policy, need, purpose, implementation target, and the PAKEM model development at the senior high level of Lazuardi Global Islamic School Depok (2) input which covers teacher, student, supporting facility and curriculum (3) process which covers the implementation process of PAKEM model (4) product which covers the changing of student’s behaviour, the students’ satisfaction on class learning process, the score of written test and the student’s practice result on Islamic education subject at the senior high level of Lazuardi Global Islamic School, Depok This research is an evaluative research. The instruments used for this research are as follow: (1) document study (2) structured interview (3) observation (4) questionnaire for students and teachers.The result of this research shows that the implementation of active, creative, effective and fun  learning model on Islamic education subject at the senior high level of Lazuardi Global Islamic School, Depok based on context, input and process  evaluation has met a demand of standard reference on government’s regulation number 19 year 2005 regarding the national education standard on article 19. Whereas on product evaluation, specifically on the column part of  students’ final assessment used by the school, it needs a revision related to the cognitive and affective  precentage score. Affective aspect should  have higher percentage since this final assessment is concerned with one of the student’s  satisfaction aspect toward the success gained on Islamic education subject. Besides, the main purpose of Islamic education subject is to set – up noble character on students as a standard reference present in goverment regulation number 19 article 26 subsection 2 concerning graduate competence standard which not only emphasize on intellectual and science aspect but also on the shaping of personality and nobel character on students

    This study aims to determine (1) the influence of parents' parenting on learning outcomes of mathematics, (2) the influence of the school environment to the learning outcomes of mathematics, (3) influence student motivation for learning outcomes mathematics, (4) the effect of parenting parents against student motivation, (5) the impact of the school environment on student motivation, (6) the effect of parents' parenting on learning outcomes mathematics through motivation, (7) the impact of the school environment terhadapa result of learning mathematics through motivation, (8) the effect of parenting old, sekoah environment and motivation towards mathematics learning outcomes.This research is a quantitative research using cross sectional survey correlation. This study was conducted in March-May 2014. The study population was the students of class X SMK District of North Samarinda totaling 1,131 students with a sample size of 92 respondents and sampling using random sampling siple. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire with data analysis techniques using path analysis (path analysis).The results of this study show that the first effect of parenting parents on learning outcomes of mathematics at 24.9%, the influence of the school environment on learning outcomes of the mathematics of 22.4%, a third influence students' motivation to learn math result by 21, 5%, the fourth influence parenting parents on the students motivation of 24.6%, the fifth school environment influence on the students motivation of 30.1%, the sixth parenting parents influence the learning outcomes of mathematics through the motivation of 53%, the seventh environmental influences schools the mathematics learning outcomes through motivation by 65% and eighth influence parenting parents, school environment and motivation to learn mathematics results by 48.3%.Keywords: Parenting Parents, School Environment, Learning Outcomes Mathematics, Motivation

    Al-Qur'an down in Arabic, it is highly recommended us to learning languages, so that we can read, interpret, understand and implement what is stated in the Qur'an. In this study using Ummi in reading the Qur'an. Ummi method focused on three things are concerned, namely: method quality, teacher quality, and systems that prioritize quality. In this study, researchers formulate problems, namely how Implementation Methods Ummi in enhancing the ability to read the Qur'an Grade SD III.B Ibnu Khaldun Al-Firdaus Samarinda Islamic School Year 2015/2016? The purpose of this study was to determine Impementasi Ummi method in elementary Islamic School Al-Firdaus Samarinda and know the increased ability to read the Qur'an class III.B Ibnu Khaldun in Al-Firdaus Islamic Elementary School Samarinda.This study is a qualitative descriptive aimed to describe that are taking place. In other words, a qualitative descriptive study aimed to obtain information about the existing situation. The present study examined children in elementary Islamic School Al- Firdaus Samarinda precisely graders III.B Ibnu Khaldun. The reason of choosing a place in the present study were researchers able to engage in a learning process directly and within a period that is long enough to do the research. So as to facilitate the research process.Based on the results of observations made by researchers that many children who have not been able remember short letters as well as readings and also its short length can not be read even if the letter hijaiyah but less well versed in reading the Qur'an. Meanwhile, after school using methods Ummi in reading the Qur'an post the results of tests conducted by researchers is seen the change between reading and memorizing is done by the students, seen from the analysis, because of the actions carried out by researchers really do ummi method implementation in accordance with what has been in written and explained by experts how to teach the method ummi ummi methods to students. Therefore it can be concluded that by using the method Ummi can improve the ability to read the Qur'an in class III.B Ibnu Khaldun in Al-Firdaus Islamic Elementary School Samarinda and implementation methods in primary Ummi Al-Firdaus Samarinda Islamic School has been running with good
