The Use of the Istinbathiyah Method in Learning the Ma’ani (Balaghah) Using Mutasyabihat fi al-Alfadz Verses
Balaghah is a branch of Arabic literature that is very important for understanding the meaning of ijaz in the Qur'an. Balaghah is also a science taught in Islamic boarding schools, so it is very important to know the effectiveness of its learning methods. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Istinbathiyah method in learning Ma'ani (balaghah). The research method in this study is quantitative with an experimental type. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, documentation, and tests. Data analysis was carried out statistically, the formula used was the t-test formula or t-test. There are several requirements that must be met before the t-test is carried out, including the Normality test, Homogeneity Test, and Hypothesis Test. The results of this study indicate that the Istinbathiyah method is quite effective with an average value of 16.3 from the control class while 66.9 from the experimental class
Enhancing Arabic Listening and Vocabulary Acquisition through AI-Powered Music: A Study on Suno AI
This study explores the impact of AI-generated music, specifically through the Suno AI platform, on enhancing Arabic listening skills (maharah istima\u27) and vocabulary acquisition at Darullughah Wadda’wah Boarding School (Pesantren). A qualitative approach was employed over a 3-week period, involving 120 students aged 16 to 18. The findings reveal that AI-powered music significantly improved student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Students demonstrated better vocabulary retention and listening comprehension, facilitated by the contextual use of lyrics in AI-generated songs. However, the short duration of the study posed challenges for mastering all introduced vocabulary. This research suggests that integrating AI-generated music into Arabic language education offers a promising, engaging alternative to traditional methods, particularly in enhancing receptive language skills. Future studies could extend the duration and explore the impact on other language skills such as speaking and writing

Development of The An-Najah Mobile Learning Application to Improve Students’ Arabic Reading Skills
The integration of technology in educational settings has revolutionized conventional teaching approaches, particularly in language instruction. This research investigates the development and efficacy of the An-Najah mobile learning application designed to enhance reading competencies among students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Cirebon. Employing a research and development methodology, this study utilized the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to construct and validate the educational technology intervention. The results of the study show that Arabic language learning at MAN 2 Cirebon city is still based on traditional media and faces various challenges in teaching reading skills; The an-Najah app developed has a very good feasibility rate based on the assessment of media experts (96%) and content experts (83%) with an average feasibility of 90%; and effectiveness testing through pre-test and post-test showed a significant increase from an average score of 55.4 to 90.8, showing an increase of 63.9%. However, the challenge of teaching Arabic reading skills still requires adaptive educational media innovation
From Sacred to Commodified: The Semantic Transformation of Arabic Language in Indonesian Horror Film Titles
This study examines the use and semantic transformation of Islamic religious language in Indonesian horror films. Findings reveal that desacralizationge with horror themes to attract the predominantly Muslim audience, media commodification has transformed sacred expressions into commercial tools, leading to the distortion of religious literacy and public resistance. The research aims to identify forms of semantic transformation, investigate its causes, and analyze its impact on public discourse and understanding of religious language. Using both primary and secondary data, the study focused on Indonesian horror films released on YouTube between 2019 and 2023. Data were classified based on theories of desacralization and connotative meaning, with analysis encompassing linguistic patterns and audience comments. Findings reveal that semantic transformation arises mainly from the commodification of religion through syncretic storytelling that blends Islamic elements with horror, creating confusion and misinterpretations of Islamic teachings among the public
A Philological Study of The Tanjung Barulak Tarekat Manuscript in Arabic and Pegon Arabic
This paper aims to analyze the text in the Tanjung Barulak Sufi manuscript, Tanah Datar district. This study uses a philological research method with the object of study being a manuscript with the code 02/BB.II/twf/2021. This method has six working steps: manuscript inventory, manuscript description, manuscript grouping and comparison, selection of text edition methods, transliteration, and additional studies. This study reveals four main teachings of the Naqsyabandiyah Sufi order, first, absolute obedience to the teacher based on the terminology of the text "believe in Allah and the Prophet and the teacher", "uphold the command of Allah and the command of the Prophet and the command of the teacher and stay away from the command of Allah and the command of the Prophet and the command of the teacher". Second, dhikr by saying lâ ilâha illallâh. Third, zuhud means setting aside worldly affairs when we perform rituals of worship to Allah. Enhancing Arabic Learning Outcomes Through the Course Review Horay Cooperative Learning Model
A well-designed evaluation process can increase student motivation and strengthen understanding of the material taught, thus achieving more optimal learning outcomes. The researcher intends to analyze the effect of course review horay type cooperative learning model in improving students\u27 Arabic learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach, specifically an experiment with a pre-experiment design. The study involved 16 students in class IVB SDIT Subulussalam who were assessed using observation sheets and written tests. The results showed that students were very active and engaged during the learning process, with a success rate of 61% - 100% in terms of activeness. Hypothesis testing confirmed that the independent variable (cooperative learning model) significantly influenced the dependent variable (students\u27 Arabic learning outcomes). This supports the initial hypothesis and shows that cooperative learning models positively impact student engagement and enthusiasm. These findings have important implications for educational practice, as these models can contribute to more effective learning experiences and outcomes
