The study of the impact of political marketing on citizens' political participation promotion in Uromia province

The purpose of this research is the study of the impact of political marketing on Citizens' Political Participation Promotion in Uromia province. For doing this study, 301 persons among political elites and activists of Uromia were selected as sample based on stratified random sampling and answered to the questionnaire about citizens' political marketing and participation. Finally, the obtained data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient and multivariate linear regression. Results indicated that using partial-political, scheduling, symbols, media based-political tools and depending on religious-revolutionary symbols results in increasing Uromia citizens' political participation

Efficiency of use of national games of Yakut people in studies of physical training in a higher education institution

The purpose of the present research is to demonstrate experimentally the positive effect of the Yakut national games on the formation of the basic physical qualities of the students of the university. The students of NEFU participated in research. In studies of experimental groups Yakut national games with objects and without objects were included. Traditional games of Yakut people in the lessons on physical education, served as means of dynamic development of physical qualities such as strength, speed, flexibility, endurance and agility

Historiography of youth associations of Finno-Ugric people in Russia (at the end of 20th – beginning of 21st century)

This work gives an analysis of major resources concerning youth associations of Finno-Ugric people of the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century. Resource base offers the possibility to study the process of development of Finno-Ugric people cooperation regarding youth policy, its characteristic features and set out questions that need further studying.  The work has its practical implications. The main provisions of the work can be used as a base for further researches of this range of problems

The effects of explicit teaching of context clues at undergraduate level in EFL and ESL context

The effects of a 6-session intervention targeting contextual analysis on reading comprehension were investigated in undergraduate university classes, assigned randomly to treatment and control conditions. According to the quantitative analysis of the study, in comparison to control group, using context clues strategy caused an effect on reading comprehension of the EFL and ESL students in experimental group who were taught in how to use different context clues while reading, without considering the role of proficiency level and gender as a variable because there was no interaction between them and strategy use in this study. Thus, implementing context clue strategy as a learning tool deserves more attention by college English instructors in both EFL and ESL context. On the basis of the major findings in this research, college English teachers should keep the students better informed of the significance and specific functions of context clues in contextual guessing and should encourage the students to guess word meanings from context instead of inhibiting it when there are adequate context clues offered
