    Mindfulness in Learning: An Effect of Mindful Breathing Practice on the Learning Concentration of Students

    Mindful Breathing practice on the concentration of high school students' learning in 2024. The problems that occur in students are that there are still students who are busy and like to daydream, are less interested, and feel bored. In addition, feeling stiff, sleepy, crowded class conditions, and less favorite materials can also make it boring and difficult to concentrate, and hunger and gadgets (cell phones) can also interfere with their concentration in learning. Proportional Random Sampling technique. The study was conducted at a Senior High School with respondents from the school's students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results of the study showed that there was a significant favorable influence between the practice of Mindful Breathing on Students' Learning Concentration with t_hitunga value of 5.212 and a significance value (p) of 0.000 <0.05. From the results of the simple regression analysis calculation, the R square determination value was found to be 0.190, which means that the practice of mindful breathing has a 19% effect on students' learning concentration, while other factors influence the remaining 81%

    A Case Study on Mindful Students: How Does Silent Sitting Practice in the Classroom Affect a Student's Academic Achievement?

    This study explores the impact of silent sitting on students' academic achievement. The problems faced by students include lack of focus while studying, low active participation, and high levels of stress and anxiety. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data processing techniques from the distribution of questionnaires containing 78 statement items using the Likert scale, involving 94 students as the population. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 26.0. The study results showed a significant effect between silent sitting and students' academic achievement, with a t count of 10.761 and a t table of 1.661 (p = 0.000 ≤ 0.05), so Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted. The R square value of 0.557 indicates that silent sitting affects academic achievement by 55.7%, while other factors influence 44.3%. Thus, it is concluded that silent sitting significantly affects students' academic achievemen

    How Does a Teacher's Multicultural Leadership Affect the Students' Moderation? A Study of Junior High School Students

    This study aimed to find the effect of multicultural leadership on religious moderation in student studies. The problems that occur are minority students feeling inferior, lack of awareness of the importance of respecting and accepting religious differences, lack of instillation of multicultural values and religious moderation, the presence of multi-ethnic students, the deepening of faith from students facilitated by the school, fair treatment of minority students. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the Random Sampling survey method, using a random system. A proportional allocation of 96 samples of 28 students was carried out to determine the sample size in each class. This study was conducted in a Private School with student respondents in the 2023/2024 academic year. The study showed a significant favorable influence between multicultural leadership and religious moderation with a t count of -17.559 and a significance value (p) of 0.001 <0.05. The simple regression analysis calculation results obtained the R Square value as 0.828. Multicultural leadership influences religious moderation by 82.8%, and other factors affect the remaining 17.2%

    Developing an Effective Team Work: The Effect of Collaborative Learning Strategies on Improving Team Work Abilities in Buddhist Sunday School

    The research puropse is to deepen the effect of collaborative learning strategies on improving students' cooperation skills in Buddhist Sunday schools. One of the problems faced in the learning process in Buddhist Sunday schools is that some students do not show good cooperation. In addition, some students are less interested in participating in these activities, which is caused by a dislike of the learning methods applied. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population consisted of 44 students, with a sample of 15 students taken through a sampling technique from another monastery. The study was conducted at a Buddhist Sunday school in a monastery, with respondents from students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The analysis results using simple linear regression indicate that collaborative learning strategies significantly affect cooperation among Buddhist Sunday school students. The research has limitation in the period of time to deepen the study and for the next researcher to develop the methodology on do the deeply observation with a case study method

    This research discusses the moral degradation that occurs in modern society. Moral degradation can be seen through various aspects, such as a decrease in ethical values, an increase in individualistic behavior and the misuse of information and communication technology. Many people are more concerned with personal interests than social interests, resulting in a lack of empathy and solidarity. This reality can be overcome with Sufism morality. By implementing the moral values of Sufism, it will make human beings as a person who is refined in soul and polite in their ethics so that they can develop self-awareness and return to noble values so that a more civilized and harmonious social order is created. The purpose of this research is to represent the moral values of Sufism in the book Kiai Nyentrik Membela Pemerintah by K.H Abduraahman Wahid. This study uses a descriptive qualitative form with the type of library research and uses content analysis techniques as a form of data analysis. In the book Kiai Nyentrik Membela Pemerintah by K.H Abdurrahman Wahid, there are moral values of Sufism that are explained through the behavior of the characters who are the kiai contained in the book. The moral values of Sufism depicted in the book are sincerity, patience, gratitude, tawakkal, compassion, and humility. The book Kiai Nyentrik Membela Pemerintah is a collection of essays written by K.H Abdurrahman Wahid and then published by LkiS Yogyakarta.     This case study investigated the development and implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) Limit to Need Assessment only at Sama Alyemen School in Sana'a, Yemen, with the aim of enhancing student learning outcomes in the computer subject. The research identified the specific needs and challenges faced by the school, including inadequate technological infrastructure, low digital literacy, and varying levels of stakeholder engagement. By employing a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the study highlighted critical gaps and provided recommendations for a phased LMS implementation. The respondents in this study consisted of three key groups: teachers, students, and administrative staff at Sama Alyemen School. They were 39 people, 30 students, 5 teachers, and 4 administrative .The findings emphasized the importance of infrastructure upgrades, digital literacy training, and stakeholder involvement to ensure the successful adoption of the LMS and to create a more personalized, engaging, and effective learning environment for students

    The research was conducted to find the effect of the practice of scientific views on the ability of high-level of students in thinking. The problems that occur to students are that there are students who are passive in question-and-answer sessions during the learning process or raise questions from learning videos and subject matter, there are students who are not creative in analyzing a case according to the learning topic, there are students who live with way of think issue at a learning process at class with high level thinking, there are some students do not know how to apply the way to analyze and evaluate in the Buddhist education subjects. Learning with a scientific approach can bring the impact to learning through the systematic and holistic thinking practices. This research brought the approach of quantitative and developed a survey method. The respondents is in total 70 people. The research place has been done at Buddhist School in Jakarta City. The data analysis result showed that can be interpreted that the scientific approach positively affected of student in thinking ability with high-level standard. The result recommendation to bring the perspective of the ability of school students in high-level thingking to create a tremendous way of learning in thinking level at class, so the schools and government can formulate the proper policy in school national standard and criteria. The research is limited in research time and methodology development, for new researchers can manage the time to explore more detail and concrete in the data collection using a direct observation and case study procedure in qualitative approach

    The purpose of this study was to find out how linguistic intelligence relates to social interaction between young men and women in monasteries from the point of view of Buddhist education. The problems that occur in students are difficulty in expressing opinions, lack of vocabulary that inhibits good self-expression, misunderstandings in communication, and lack of consistent practice, which can reduce language skills. Linguistic A person's ability to use language effectively, both in writing and speaking, is known as intelligence, including the ability to understand, interpret, and express ideas or information clearly and accurately. Social interaction is a relationship or communication between two or more people who talk or do something that has an impact on each other. This can be a conversation, cooperation, or other everyday actions involving other people. This research is classified as a correlational research that uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study was the Buddhist Youth in one of Buddhist Temple in West Jakarta, totaling 30 respondents. The respondents used for the instrument trial in this study were 30 respondents Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that among the Vihara youth there is a relationship between each other and social interaction, with a relationship magnitude value of 0.834 and a significance level of 0.000 at the extreme level
