    Family Planning Program is one ofthe government's effortsin thesuppression ofthe populationinIndonesiathroughthe use ofcontraception. One typeof contraception thatattracted manyIndonesian people is contraceptive injection method. Data from Teling Atas Public Health Center also indicate that most widely family planning acceptors use contraceptive injection method. The objective of this research was to obtain the description of the knowledge and attitude of family planning acceptors on the use of injection method at Teling Atas Public Health Center Manado. This was a descriptive study using survey method. Samples taken were the family planning acceptors of injection methodwho visited the family planning clinic of Teling Atas Public Health Center during November-December 2012, which amounted to 50 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire containing each 10 questions related to knowledge and attitude. Results showed that the knowledge offamily planning acceptorswere 54% goodand 46% less, andthe attitudeof family planning acceptorswere 82% goodand 18% less.Conclusion:Based on the results of this research, the knowledge and attitude of family planning acceptors on the use of injection method is mainly good.     Breast milk is the best food in feeding babies at early aged. This is not because Breast Milk contains lots of nutrients butalso breast milk contains immunologic substances that protect the babies from infections. Breast feeding is the idealsource of nutrients for babies because it has a perfect and balanced composition for babies to grow. Breast feeding in developcountries has managed to save over 1,5 millions of babies each year. Based on that number WHO recommendingonly to give breast feeding to infants in the age of 4-6 months. UNICED declare that 30 thousands infants death in Indonesiaand 10 millions death babies world wide each year can be prevented through breast feeding program for around 6months. The purpose of these studies is to know the level of knowledge and jobs and also the support of husbands in givingformula to their infants around the age of 0-6 months in the region of health center in molompar east tombatu. Thisresearch was used Cross-Sectional methods. Samples are taken in Health Center in molompar east tombatu. The result ofthis studies shows that the respondent have a good knowledge on formula feeding and some of the respondent gives apositive feed back about the importance of breast feeding during 6 months. Some respondent with positive feed back innot to give formula to infant are unemployed. Advice that can be given is to give public counseling to society particularlymothers who are pregnant about the importance of breast feeding in infatnts and also to their husbands as well.Keywords: Factors that are associated with formula, feeding in infants aged 0-6 month

    Universal precautions is an efforts undertaken in the framework of preventive protection, and minimize cross-infection among health care workers and patients as a result of direct contact with the patient, or the patient's body fluids, and infected with contagious diseases. The purpose of research is to describe the implementation of the universal precautions in the Tanawangko Health Center. This research is a descriptive study. The results showed all respondents always wash their hands before and after performing medical procedures, all respondents always wash their hands with soap and flowing water, 45.45% of respondents did not use a mask when treat patients, all respondents always use gloves when contact with blood or body fluids, 13.64% of respondents did not use gloves when cleaning medical equipment, all respondents always take steps decontamination and sterilization, all respondents always wash medical equipment after use with soap or detergent, 9.09% of respondents did not close the syringe needle with one hand method, 22.73% of respondents did not dispose needle and other sharps in special containers, 77.27% of the respondents did not dispose of medical waste and non-medical in the trash bin.     Background:Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus. As known, DHF is still one of the potentially infectious disease that can cause an outbreaks / extraordinary events (KLB). The main vector of dengue is Aedes aegypti were found both in Indonesia and other subtropical countries. One of the ways to prevent this disease is to break the chain of disease transmission by mosquito nest eradication program (PSN).This study aimed to determine the knowledge of the community in the village of Maen About Dengue Fever. Methods: In this study, the method used is the survey method with a descriptive approach. Furthermore, data collected through interviews using questionnaires and measured by using Guttman scale. Numbers of samples is determined by simple random sampling with a sample of 90 households. Results:This study found that over 50% of the responden (72,2%) answered yes. Conclusions: From this study it can be concluded that the knowledge of the people in the village Maen About Dengue Hemorrhagic fever are well-knowledge.     Background: Universal Precautions are prevention acts that must be done by all of the health workers to prevent the infection spreading from the patients or vice versa. The purpose of this research is to measure the overview of the implementation of universal precaution in Kolongan Community Health Center. Method: The research method is surveillance descriptive research with total sampling method as the sample collecting method. Result: Accumulatively, there were (9.44%) of all the respondents do not always wash their hand appropriately according to the washing hands procedures and indications. For about (10.57%) do not always wear protective items either in cleaning up medical instruments or doing examination to patients. We found out that (13.33%) do not always decontaminate equipments and devices properly before and after using them. Nevertheless, all of the respondents agreed that there are proper needles and sharps disposals, and all of the respondents always dispose all needles and other sharps promptly to each of their disposals. Also, all of the respondents agreed that there are separated disposals for medical and non medical wastes, and all of the respondents always dispose the wastes properly to the separately disposals. Conclusion: in Kolongan Community Health Center, the overview of the implementation of universal precautions is good. Keywords: Universal Precautions, Infection, Kolongan Community Health Center
