Representation of Home: Negotiating Indonesian Identity through Vlogs of Indonesian Women in Transnational Marriage
As the transnational marriages rise among Indonesians, family vlogs on transnational marriages perform as an indicator of their existence on YouTube. Through daily vlogs, it captures the complexity of transnational family’s life. The mixed culture and identity have become a great challenge for spouses to perform their everyday life, especially for Indonesian woman, who come as a migrant to follow their partners abroad. As a migrant who live in a foreign country, they have to adjust to the environment but as a part of transnational marriage they are carrying a responsibility to pass over both her and her husband’s culture and identity to the family. This paper will examine two YouTube accounts of transnational marriage families which are Kimbab Family and Pita’s Life. Through vlogs, the women negotiate their Indonesian identity in practicing the family. This study uses a textual approach to explain the construction of Indonesian identity in transnational marriages based on their everyday life captured from the vlogs. The result of this research is both Kimbab Family and Pita’s Life representing Indonesian identity through the articulation of nationalism by participating on Indonesian events, vlogs as a ‘translanguaging space’, and finally through food as the articulation of Indonesian diversity. It shows that the identity of transnational marriages are fluid and continues to go through negotiation process
PROTOTYPE SISTEM ENTRY DATA KESEHATAN SEBAGAI PELENGKAP TELEMEDECINE
Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi yang sangat cepat memungkinkan kita untuk bertukar data di antara 2 tempat yang berjauhan. Perkembangan teknologi ini juga sudah merambah dunia medis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu sistem komunikasi data untuk mengirimkan kondisi dari pasien yang rawat jalan dengan rumah sakit. Data ini akan digunakan oleh dokter untuk menentukan bagaimana kondisi dari pasien tersebut. Sistem yang dibuat akan melingkupi aplikasi android, server dan database, serta website. Aplikasi android digunakan untuk entry data pasien, Website akan digunakan untuk mendaftarkan pasien baru. Server akan digunakan untuk menhubungkan antara aplikasi dengan database. Melalui hasil pengujian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa data sudah dapat dikirim oleh aplikasi android tetapi aplikasi masih belum bisa mengambil data entry pasien dari database. Sementara itu website sudah dapat mendaftarkan pasien baru ke database
Optimizing Vehicle Routing for Perishable Products with Time Window Constraints: : A Case Study on Bread Distribution
This research investigates the application of optimization methods to the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows in the context of bread distribution for the efficiency of different approach for managing large-scale goods delivery. Managing this distribution requires considering complexities such as travel distance, vehicle capacity, and time windows. Specifically, it compares the performance of ALNS, SA, and GA in minimizing total travel distance while adhering to strict delivery windows. The research is conducted across different cases, each distinguished by varying levels of demand, nodes, and time windows for each case. Based on four cases, ALNS is the most effective method among the three methods in optimizing bread distribution. It was averagely 33.02% more efficient than SA and 57.21% than GA for minimizing travel distance and offering a robust solution, improving delivery efficiency across different case scenarios
Finding Random Integer Ideal Flow Network Signature Algorithms
We propose a Random Integer Ideal Flow Network (IFN) Signature Algorithm that generates integral flow assignments in strongly connected directed graphs under uncertainty. Existing models often fail to incorporate the inherent randomness and integer constraints present in systems like social networks. Unlike traditional approaches that enforce integrality through large scaling factors, our method distributes integer coefficients across multiple canonical cycles, ensuring precise balance where the sum of inflows exactly equals the sum of outflows at each node. We introduce two pseudocode algorithms that uphold flow conservation while maintaining network irreducibility, ensuring autonomy through strong connectivity. Theoretical contributions include the decomposition of IFNs into canonical cycles and the construction of network signatures, string-based representations that allow efficient performance evaluation through direct string manipulation. These signatures enable quick validation of key network properties such as total flow, balanced link flows, and structural irreducibility. To demonstrate practical applications, we apply our algorithm to modeling family power dynamics, illustrating how IFN can create minimal yet resilient networks that balance autonomy with accountability. This framework lays the foundation for future advancements in predictive modeling and network optimization. To ensure reproducibility, we provide an open-source Python implementation on GitHub
THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE COMPETENCIES, ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT, AND EMPLOYEE SELF-EFFICACY IN PREDICTING GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE: A MEDIATION ANALYSIS WITH WORK ENGAGEMENT
The purpose of this research is to determine the role of Artificial Intelligence Competencies, organizational support, and employee self-efficacy in predicting the performance of government employees. This research uses quantitative methods with a type of correlation research. The structural Equation Model (SEM) approach is assisted by the smart PLS application. This approach was chosen because it aims to determine the correlation between the Artifical Intelligence Competencies, Organizational Support, and Employee Self-Efficacy variables: Employee Self-Efficacy. Data analysis in this research used descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. Descriptive analysis is done by describing the results of the sampling percentage. Based on the results of the research, we show that Artificial Intelligence (AI) competencies, employee self-efficacy, work engagement, and organizational support proved to have an important contribution to improving the performance of government employees. Implications of this study indicates the need of holistic approach in human resource management in government sector. Organizations should also develop technical competencies like artificial intelligence and support psychological competencies like self-efficacy and work engagement through just policies and sufficient facilities
TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP IN INDONESIAN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS DURING THE POST-COVID ERA: A CASE STUDY OF SPIRITUAL DIMENSIONS
COVID-19 in Indonesia necessitated a shift from traditional face-to-face learning to technology-based distance learning. This transition also redefined the role of school principal who must lead change and work in new ways. This study aims to explore the new role of the principal as a technology leader and develop a technology leadership model in learning in the new normal era. Employing a qualitative approach with a single case study method, the study involved 20 participants, including 5 principals, 5 vice principals, 5 IT coordinators, and 5 subject teachers from five public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in Surabaya, Indonesia.. The findings study show that school principal has a key role in keeping the school functioning well in the new normal era. This findings highlight the latest model of technology leadership in education by developing 5 dimensions of technology leadership from NETS-EL 2018 into 6 dimensions. The spiritual dimension makes technology leaders and teachers are more effective in leading schools during and after COVID-19. These findings specifically contribute to the development of a technology leadership framework and generally complement existing leadership theories
Digital Amnesia in Indonesia Generation Z on Instagram Advertisement Information Absorption
Digital Amnesia is the experience of forgetting information that you trust a digital device to store and remember for you. The researcher uses four indicators of digital amnesia: remember without looking up, emotional impact of losing data or access to data, behavior related to internet searches, and install IT securities on devices. This research will find out the level of digital amnesia in Indonesia Generation Z on Instagram advertisement information absorption. The research is using quantitative descriptive approach and online survey method. The questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents using purposive sampling method. The theories used by the researcher include the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory, Marketing Public Relations theory, Digital Amnesia theory and Consumer Behavior theory. The research shows that Generation Z experiences digital amnesia the most when they see Story Ads, and the least when they see Reels Ads. This is supported by the data showing that Generation Z is categorized as having high levels in all four indicators (remember without looking up, emotional impact of losing data, behavior related to internet searches, and install IT security on devices)
PENGARUH SOCIAL PRESENCE DAN SCARCITY TERHADAP IMPULSE BUYING MELALUI EMOTION PADA LIVE STREAMING E-COMMERCE SHOPEE LIVE
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dari Social Presence dan Scarcity terhadap Impulse Buying melalui Emotion dalam konteks live streaming e-commerce Shopee Live. Jumlah responden yang berhasil diperoleh dan diolah datanya sebesar 137 responden. Responden penelitian adalah berusia 17 tahun ke atas, domisili di Surabaya, pengguna Shopee Live dalam 3 bulan terakhir, dan pernah membeli produk fashion atau aksesoris. Alat yang dipakai untuk proses pengolahan data adalah pendekatan model struktural dengan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Emotion memediasi hubungan antara Social Presence dan Impulse Buying. Selain itu, Emotion juga memediasi hubungan antara Scarcity dan Impulse Buying
PENGARUH CITRA DESTINASI TERHADAP MINAT BERKUNJUNG KEMBALI DI KOTA BANYUWANGI
Banyuwangi merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang populer di Jawa Timur yang menawarkan keindahan alam kepada wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan citra destinasi (citra kognitif dan afektif) dengan minat berkunjung kembali ke Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari distribusi kuesioner terhadap 133 responden. Teknik pengolahan data yang diterapkan adalah PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra kognitif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap citra afektif dan minat berkunjung kembali ke Banyuwangi. Demikian juga didapati pengaruh signifikan antara citra afektif dan minat berkunjung kembali ke Banyuwanagi. Pengujian efek mediasi memberikan hasil adanya mediasi parsial dari citra afektif pada hubungan antara citra kognitif terhadap minat berkunjung kembali ke Banyuwangi
