 （様式４） 別紙２ 論文審査の結果の要旨 学位申請者 LE THI ANH PHUONG 本論文は、「STUDY ON INORGANIC-POLYMER COMPOSITE FIBROUS ADSORBENT FOR REMEDIATION OF POLLUTANTS（無機-ポリマー複合繊維状吸着材による汚染物質浄化に関する研究）」と題し、４章より構成されている。第１章「緒論」では、環境汚染における硫化水素やヒソの除染についてその現状と必要性について述べ、除染材の有効活用について説明し、持続可能社会への貢献の観点から論述し、本研究の目的と範囲を述べている。 第 2章の「Suppression of hydrogen sulfide generation via coexistence of anaerobic sludge and goethite-rich limonite/Polyethersulfone composite fiber」では、リモナイト-ポリエーテルスルホン（PES）複合繊維により嫌気性微生物汚泥からの硫化水素(H2S)発生を抑制するために、湿式紡糸法により調製した。複合繊維の H2S 吸着は Langmuir型であり、最大吸着容量は 3.7-4.4 g H2S/g となり、メソ細孔吸着を示した。H2S発酵環境では、嫌気性微生物汚泥とリモナイト複合繊維を共存させた in vitro微生物による H2S発酵環境では、H2S の発生が抑制された、同時に微生物代謝により発生する CO 発生量も抑制し、嫌気性微生物の代謝にも影響を与えた。嫌気性消化過程において特に 672-840 時間（28-35 日）で、複合繊維中のリモナイトのメソ孔は消失し、マクロ孔吸着に変化し、リモナイト成分は、黄鉄鉱と硫酸鉄となり、処理繊維中に残存し、変換効率は 6.8%と 32.4%であった。リモナイト複合繊維の in vitro での二硫化水素濃度は、初期の約300ppmから 32.4%減じた約 0.4ppm に抑制できることがわかった。  第 3章の「Arsenic removal adsorbent using limonite-polyethersulfone composite fiber via continuous flow column process」では、ヒ素（As）除去のために改良されたリモナイトベースの複合繊維吸着材で、60wt%のリモナイト粉末を担持した PES-リモナイト複合繊維を、NMP溶液中の PES の濃度を変化させて（10、20、30wt%）多孔質構造をコントロールし、As(III)と As(V)の両方を効率よく吸着できる吸着材を述べている。吸着は Langmur モデルに従い、最大吸着量は pH6 で As(III)が 1.5 mg/g、As(V)が 3.2 mg/g であった。カラム実験では、As除去率は接触時間とともに増加したが、カラム長を長くすることで除去率が増すことを、Adams-Bohart モデルで解析し議論した。As(V)除去のメカニズムは、pH6.8 の水溶液中で、α-FeOOH と HAsO4 および H2AsO42-とのイオン交換による内球錯体の形成に関与していた。 第 4 章の「TiO2-PES fibrous composite material for Ammonia removal using UV-A photocatalyst」において、相転移法を用いて TiO2担持量を変化させた TiO2-PES 複合繊維の開発に焦点を当て、水中のアンモニア酸化反応を検討した。TiO2ナノ粒子が埋め込まれたスポンジ状構造を示示す、複合繊維は UV-A 光照射下での水溶液からのアンモニア除去性能をではLangmuirモデルに従いアンモニアを吸着し、UV-A 4光照射下でのアンモニア溶液が硝酸塩に変わることを報告し、繊維に埋め込まれた光触媒における TiO2 複合繊維の有効性を明らかにした。特に、光触媒と光源との距離を長くすると、ヒドロキシラジカル濃度が減少し、光触媒効率に影響を与えることがわかった。 第５章では本研究で得られた知見をまとめ、記述している。 以上のように、無機-ポリマー複合繊維状吸着材による汚染物質浄化に関して、基礎的な重要な知見と、より実用的な知見を与えた。よって、本論文は工学上及び工業上貢献するところが大きく、博士（工学）の学位論文として十分な価値を有するものと認める。                        審査委員主査 小林 高臣 印  

STUDY ON INORGANIC-POLYMER COMPOSITE FIBROUS ADSORBENT FOR REMEDIATION OF POLLUTANTS

（様式４）  別紙２   論文審査の結果の要旨   学位申請者 Nguyen Thu Huong  本論文は「 Improvements in reactor design and the potential utilization of conductive materials for anaerobic decolorization of azo dyes（アゾ染料の嫌気的脱色リアクター開発と導電性材料の利用の可能性）」と題して 8 章から構成されている。第 1 章では、緒論として、本研究の意義と目的について述べ、本論文の構成を記述している。  第 2 章では、繊維染料産業で使用されるさまざまな染料の種類、繊維染色工程、染色から発生する廃水、染色廃水の処理方法、嫌気性処理プロセスの応用展開に関する最新の知見を記述している。特に、アゾ染料の嫌気性脱色に重点を置き、既存の嫌気性染料処理システムのメカニズム、可能性、課題などについて、先行研究を分析し解説している。  第 3 章では、嫌気性バッフルリアクター（ABR）と down-flow hanging sponge を複合させた処理システムによる人工染色廃水の処理実験を行い、水理学的滞留時間  23.2 時間で90%以上の COD 除去率と 58%の色度除去率を達成した。  第 4 章では、さらなる色度性能の向上を目的にスポンジ担体を ABR 槽内に投入して処理実験を実施した。その結果、最大 84%の色度除去性能を得ることができ、また、Geobacter sp.と Methanosarcina sp.の優占を確認した。  第 5 章では、導電性材料であるマグネタイトを ABR 内に投入することによって CODと色度の除去率をそれぞれ 44%から 85%、42%から 86%へ向上した。また、マグネタイトを投入した ABR では、生成メタン効率が低下することを明らかにした。  第 6 章では、導電性材料を効率的にリアクター内に保持するため、PVA/Fe/デンプンゲルビーズを開発し、Upflow anaerobic sludge blanket リアクターによって連続処理実験を行い、その保持性能を評価した。  第 7 章では、導電性材料の存在が嫌気条件下においる脱色促進のメカニズムについて、既往の研究を整理している。  第 8 章では、本論文全体から得られた主な結論を要約し、これまでの研究から派生した展望と、将来的な研究の方向性について考察している。これらの知見は効率的な染料含有廃水処理技術の開発に向けた重要な工学的知見となりうるものである。  よって、本論文は工学上及び工業上貢献するところが大きく、博士（工学）の学位論文として十分な価値を有するものと認める。    審査委員主査 山口 隆司 印

Although many studies tried investigate the mechanism of loosening based on various cause such as delamination, wear, bone remodeling. etc, a interactive effect of delamination and deformation of surrounding bone has not yet been revealed. To understand the mechanism of aseptic loosening induced by delamination, finite element analysis has been conducted. Firstly, mechanical properties of simulated bone were applied for surrounding bone and delamination propagation was simulated at the interface between cup and bone. A system of three inclination angles and three loading amplitudes were investigated. Interfacial damage between the cup and the bone is characterized by the local geometry: debonding at the top and sides of the cup occurred mainly in lower angles, which could promote wear and opening damage at the bottom, causing accumulation of strain in the remaining bonding area and leading to a reduction in fixation. The interactive effect of delamination and inelastic deformation of bones on the exaggerated loosening behavior of the acetabular cup was confirmed through regression analyses. A modified safe zone concept was proposed by considering the displacement behavior of acetabular cups. Proper control of the fixation angle during surgery is useful in preventing the loosening of the hip joint. The lifespan of the hip joint in obese patients can be prolonged when a low inclination angle can be maintained. In the second part of the study, bone remodeling behavior of cancellous bone was applied for surrounding bone and delamination propagation was also modeled at the interface between cup and bone. A system of three inclination angles and three loading amplitudes were investigated. Interfacial damage between the cup and the bone. Delamination area at the interface was widened due to the low initial bone density even in the case of 450 inclination, which leads to increased bone reduction at the bottom and top edges. Stress shielding was observed near the top edge since the delamination process in 450 and 600 could exaggerate the strain accumulation near the micro-cracking limit and promote more embedding of the acetabular cup. The interactive effect of low IBD, inclination angle and loading amplitude could reduce the aseptic loosening life by half, which can be attributed to the amplified embedding of the acetabular cup due to the delamination-induced reduction of the bone density. In general conclusion, the aseptic loosening behavior of the acetabular cup could be exaggerated by the interactive effect of delamination and bone deformation. The mechanism of delamination-induced loosening behavior was proposed to aid treatment for patient.
