THE EFFECT OF THINK PAIR SHARE MODEL USING VIDEO SCRIBE MEDIA ON COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND MOTIVATION TO LEARN IPS
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model using Video Scribe on communication skills and motivation to learn social studies of fifth grade students of SD Inpres Tappanjeng Bantaeng Regency. This type of research is quantitative using an experimental approach. The research design used was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were 36 students. The samples in this study were class VA with 18 students as the experimental class and class VB with 18 students as the control class. The sampling technique used saturated sampling. The instruments used were observation sheets and questionnaires. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive data analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The hypothesis tests used were Anova and Manova. The results obtained are the significance value of communication skills and motivation to learn social studies students smaller than 0.05 which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, namely there is an effect of Think Pair Share learning model using Video Write Communication Skills and Motivation to Learn Social Studies Students Grade V Elementary School
APPLICATION OF GROUP GUIDANCE SERVICES WITH COGNITIVE DEFUSION TECHNIQUES IN INCREASING STUDENT CONFIDENCE AT MTS AISYIYAH NORTH SUMATERA
Self-development is always related to self-confidence. Self-confidence is important because it influences individual success. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of group guidance services with cognitive defusion techniques to increase student confidence. The research design used is Quasy Experiment with pre-post-test control group design. In this design, the experimental group received treatment and the control group did not receive treatment. The sample was taken 30 students and then divided into two groups, namely 15 students into the experimental group and 15 other students into the control group. Data collection was taken through a structured questionnaire given to students to measure the level of self-confidence. The instrument applied is the self-confidence scale. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel software and SPSS Version 25. The analysis applied hypothesis testing (t test). The results of the analysis obtained information, t P <0.05, namely (0.001 <0.05) the significance value is less than 0.05 so that the hypothesis is accepted. This indicates that group guidance services with cognitive defusion techniques are effective for increasing students\u27 confidence levels
STUDENTS LEARNING CULTURE IN HIGHER EDUCATION AFTER THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
This study aims to analyze the description of student learning culture in higher education after the Covid-19 pandemic so that it can develop better learning productivity. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research using a case study method conducted at Ma\u27some University with a total research population of 150 students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The results showed that students in higher education classified the learning culture implemented through social interactions and the value system in the substance of learning culture as high after the Covid-19 pandemic with a score of 3.32 and 3.34 for each dimension. Students in higher education can adapt to post-Covid-19 pandemic learning. However, universities still need to improve and maintain the stability of student learning culture by being conducive to social interactions and values and systems in the substance of learning culture
THE TRANSFORMATION OF MULTIMEDIA-BASED CHARACTER EDUCATION LEARNING IN THE ERA OF SOCIETY 5.0: A Case Study Of Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Ar Rahman Palembang
The purpose of this study was to determine the Learning Transformation of Multimedia-Based Character Education in the Era of Society 5.0 and what the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of Character Education Learning Transformation in the Era of Society 5.0 at Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School Palembang, This research includes using qualitative research methods. Data was obtained using interviews and observations. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and leveraging. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of multimedia-based character education learning transformation in the era of Society 5.0 takes place through the stages of habituation of students to behave well in the teaching and learning process using multimedia, practicing teacher advice, modeling good behavior exemplified by the teacher, and obeying the rules of the teacher in learning using multimedia. Supporting factors for implementing multimedia-based character education learning transformation in the era of Society 5.0 are school support, teacher support, students\u27 willingness to learn using multimedia, and the existence of multimedia technology that students are familiar with. The inhibiting factors are the existence of bad people who deliberately damage the morals of the younger generation through bad applications, a less supportive environment, and the development of technology and communication that is growing rapidly
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INFORMATION SERVICES USING A FEMINIST THERAPY APPROACH TO IMPROVE STUDENTS\u27 UNDERSTANDING OF GENDER ROLES AT MAN 1 TAKENGON
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of information services using a feminist therapy approach to improve students\u27 understanding of gender roles at MAN 1 Takengon. This research uses quantitative research quasi experiment. The population of this research consisted of 208 students and the research sample consisted of 70 students determined by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection instruments used observation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing in the form of paired sample T-Test test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores, with a significance value (2-tailed) P = 0.000 < 0.05. This means that information services are effective for increasing students\u27 understanding of gender roles
INTEGRATING ISLAMIC VALUES ON THE MATERIAL OF TOLERANCE AND DIVERSITY IN CIVICS EDUCATION AT NURUL FIKRI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
This study aimed to determine the Islamic value of tolerance and diversity in Civic Education at Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Sipirok. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Then, to ensure the validity of the data, it was used through data triangulation. From the results of the study, it was found that the material of tolerance and ethnic diversity is fostered and instilled starting from the elementary school level because then students from an early age can coexist in the life of the nation and state. In addition, the implementation of Civic Education with the integration of Islamic values, such as the relationship between tolerance and Islamic values and prophet stories that tell stories of tolerance, so it can be concluded that the attitude of tolerance and diversity applied at Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic Elementary School aims to create a school atmosphere that respects each student and does not hesitate to be open both between students and students with teachers and also help each other, help, and cooperate in various activities carried out daily to create a peaceful and prosperous school atmosphere
ANALYSIS OF ITEM QUALITY IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION SUBJECTS WITH RASCH MODELING
The role of teachers in schools is expected, especially in evaluating student learning; teachers must pay attention to the quality of the items made. This study aims to determine the instrument\u27s validity or the quality of the item\u27s suitability with the model known as Item FIT (item suitability) on the End of Semester Assessment of Islamic Religious Education. The sample in this study was 216 respondents, using cluster random sampling. The results obtained; 1) the end-of-semester test given is categorized as easy when viewed from the level of student ability above the level of difficulty of the question; 2) the level of student ability is moderate with logit (0) producing very high information. Then, it will produce low information at the low or high ability level. It means that the PAI test produces maximum information when given to individuals with moderate ability. 3) Item fit criteria from 216 students, there are 93% that fit the model (fit model), and these students are said to fit the model because they have met at least two existing criteria; 4) The results of the analysis of the summary table above, 40 items analyzed there are 33 items (83%) that fit the model (fit model). 5) Reliability for Pearson reliability of 0.83 and item reliability of 0.97, it can be concluded that the consistency of student answers is good and the quality of the items in the PAI test is excellent reliability; 6) Gender bias analysis can be seen that 2 of the 40 items are DIF or need to be corrected because they harm certain gender groups
INTERNATIONALIZATION OF MUHAMMADIYAH EDUCATION:: A STUDY OF MUHAMMADIYAH AUSTRALIA COLLEGE
This article aims to analyze the objectives, functions, and management of the Muhammadiyah Australia College (MAC) program in Australia. In the research process, the researcher uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research. Data and information collection is conducted through documentation techniques, while data analysis is carried out using content analysis techniques. From this research, it can be concluded that: (1) there are four main objectives of the MAC program, which are: to become a center of education that embodies rahmatan lil alamin (a blessing for all creation), to educate students with Islamic spiritual values and local cultural values, to shape students into tolerant and law-abiding individuals, and to foster students to become competent global citizens; (2) there are four main functions performed by MAC, which are: contributing positively to local communities, providing opportunities for Indonesians who wish to study in Australia, serving as a place for student exchange programs, and promoting the principles and practices of Australian democracy; and (3) MAC\u27s management is guided by two main principles: all activities must align with MAC\u27s vision, mission, objectives, and core values, and a commitment to child safety.
THE IMPROVEMENT OF MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH TEACHERS\u27 COMPETENCE IN SEMARANG DISTRICT IN TERMS OF THE PERFORMANCE OF MADRASAH SUPERVISORS
Teacher competence is one of the essential aspects of achieving educational goals and targets. The competence of teachers is also very influential in the learning process. The problem that often arises is that not all teachers have competencies by the standards set. This study aims to analyze the performance role of madrasah supervisors in improving the competence of Madrasah teachers and their obstacles. Qualitative research with a descriptive approach is the method used in this research. The informants of this study amounted to 12 people who were representatives of teachers, principals and madrasah supervisors in the Bringin sub-district, Semarang district, Central Java. Data collection used interview techniques and documentation with instruments in the form of structured interview guides and documentation checklist guides. Data analysis techniques used three steps: data reduction, presentation, and verification. The study results concluded that a good supervisor\u27s role can affect a teacher\u27s performance. The obstacles faced in supervision are the madrasah teachers experiencing a decline in performance due to age factors approaching retirement
STRENGTHENING CHARACTER EDUCATION PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AT 100703 BATANG TORU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THROUGH 5S ACTIVITIES
Being friendly or communicative is a behavior that is done to show a sense of pleasure in talking, getting along, and cooperating with others. One of the methods that can be applied at school to support communicative character is the culture of smiling,greeting,saluting, politeness, and manners, an Eastern culture that must remain attached to the Indonesian nation. This study aimed to determine the program\u27s implementation to strengthen student character education through 5S activities at100703 Batang Toru Elementary School. This research method uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques use observation and interviews, which are then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show that 100703 Batang Toru Elementary Schoolimplements the 5S program through a self-development program that includes routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary activities, and conditioning implemented in subjects and extracurricular activities. This 5S program has been implemented since 2012. The results of this study also show that the benefits of the 5S implementation have shown positive results in creating students\u27 communicative character in the school environment
