Analyse und Optimierung des Verbrennungsprozesses von Dual-Fuel-Motoren bei Betrieb mit schwankenden Brenngasqualitäten

Dual-Fuel-Motoren sind eine Möglichkeit, die maritime Energiewende in den kommenden Jahren voranzutreiben. Aktuelle technische Entwicklungen ermöglichen es, den theoretischen Treibhausgasvorteil des verwendeten verflüssigten Erdgases (engl.: liquefied natural gas, LNG) gegenüber den klassischen Marinekraftstoffen in der Praxis nutzbar zu machen und somit diesen schadstoffarmen Verbrennungsprozess auch zukünftig nutzen zu können. Darüber hinaus bietet LNG die Option 100 % klimaneutral aus erneuerbaren Stromquellen mittels Elektrolyse und Methanisierung hergestellt zu werden. Eine Beimischung biogen erzeugter Gasanteile ist ebenfalls technisch möglich. Die Motorentechnik wird zwischenzeitlich von Reedern und Schiffsbetreibern grundlegend akzeptiert, und der Anteil von Schiffen mit Dual-Fuel-Antrieb steigt zunehmend an.Dual-fuel engines are one way of driving forward the maritime energy transition in the upcoming years. Current technical developments make it possible to utilise the theoretical greenhouse gas advantage of liquefied natural gas (LNG) compared to conventional marine fuels in practice and thus to be able to use this low-emission combustion process in the future. In addition, LNG offers the option of being produced in a 100% climate-neutral way from renewable power sources by means of electrolysis and methanisation. An admixture of biogenically produced gas amounts is also technically possible. Video-EEG-Analysen von Gliom-tragenden Ratten unter Behandlung mit Perampanel

Im Rahmen eines Tierversuches wurde die Wirksamkeit des AMPA-Rezeptorblockers Perampanel bei der Behandlung von Gliom-Patienten untersucht. Hierfür wurden durch Zellinjektion in den Neocortex von Fischer-Ratten Gliome gezüchtet und die damit assoziierten epileptischen Entladungen im Video-EEG ausgezählt und analysiert. Es erfolgte ein Vergleich mit Versuchstieren, die keine Behandlung erhalten hatten. Erweitert wurden die Untersuchungen durch die Betrachtung von klinischen EEGs von Patienten der Rostocker Klinik und Poliklinik für Neurologie.The effectiveness of the AMPA receptor blocker perampanel in the treatment of glioma patients was examined in an animal experiment. For this purpose, gliomas were grown by cell injection into the neocortex of Fischer rats and the associated epileptic discharges in the Video-EEG were counted and assessed. A comparison was made with test animals that had not received any treatment. The investigations were expanded by the examination of clinical EEGs from patients at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Neurology in Rostock

Einfluss von sterisch anspruchsvollen Substituenten auf die Reaktivität von NP-Verbindungen

Die vorliegende Dissertation beschäftigt sich mit den Ergebnissen zum Einfluss von speziellen sterisch anspruchsvollen Substituenten (Tipsi, Mes3Si, T*, TROP) auf die Synthese und Reaktivität von N2P2-Biradikalen und deren Vorläuferverbindungen sowie dem Abspaltungsverhalten der Substituenten. Für T* wurde die Synthese des Biradikals und dessen Reaktivität beschrieben. Dabei konnte ein neuartiges Doppelsalz Mg[NPN][PNP] isoliert und charakterisiert werden. Hinweise auf eine erfolgreiche Abspaltung der Substituenten konnten in ersten Versuchen bei Tipsi und T* gefunden werden.This PhD thesis reports on the influence of sterically demanding substituents (Tipsi, Mes3Si, T*, TROP) on the synthesis and reactivity of N2P2 biradicals and their precursors as well as the cleavage behaviour of the substituents. The biradical [P(μ-NT*)]2 could be prepared, fully characterized and its reactivity was described. The formation of the novel double salt Mg[NPN][PNP], being formed in a one-pot reaction of the diphosphadiazane, Mg and tolan, could be observed. Initial evidence for the successful cleavage of the substituent from the biradical were found for Tipsi and T*

Kaskaden-Photooxygenierung von Tetrahydrocarbazolen und Hexahydrocyclohepta[b]indolen zu Bausteinen der Alkaloidsynthese

Die durch Licht vermittelte katalytische Singulett-Oxygenierung des Hexahydrocyclohepta[b]indol wurde untersucht. Nach erfolgter Optimierung erfolgte die Isolierung und Untersuchungen des Reaktionsmechanismus. Zusätzliche Aufnahme von Zeit-Umsatzprofilen ermöglichte die Postulierung des Reaktionsmechanismus. Als nächstes wurden verschiedenen Derivate zu den entsprechenden Halbaminalen umgesetzt. Abschließendend erfolgte die Einbindung der Kaskaden-Photooxygenierung in die Naturstoffsynthese von Mersicarpin und die Umsetzung zweier funktionalisierter Carbazol-Derivate zu Mersicarpin-Analoga.The light-mediated catalytic singlet oxygenation of the hexahydrocyclohepta[b]indole has been studied. After optimization, the reaction mechanism was isolated and investigated. Additional recording of time-turnover profiles enabled postulation of the reaction mechanism. Next, various derivatives were converted to the corresponding hemiaminals. Finally, the cascade photooxygenation was integrated into the natural product synthesis of mersicarpine and two functionalized carbazole derivatives were converted into mersicarpine analogues

Nichtinvasive Kreislaufüberwachung von Dialysepatienten mittels Pulstransitzeit

Die Pulstransitzeit (PTT) bezeichnet die Laufzeit einer Pulswelle zwischen proximalen und distalen Messpunkten. Oftmals wird die PTT aus Elektrokardiogramm und Pulsplethysmogramm bestimmt. Die PTT ist ein Indikator für Blutgefäßwandsteifigkeit. Mit zunehmendem Blutdruck oder steiferen Gefäßen steigt die Gefäßwandspannung, die Pulswelle ist schneller und die PTT sinkt. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Untersuchung, inwieweit sich die Kreislauffunktion von Dialysepatienten während der Dialyse im Hinblick auf problematische Blutdruckabfälle mittels der PTT überwachen lässt.The Pulse Transit Time (PTT) is the time it takes for a pulse wave to travel from proximal to distal measurement points. The electrocardiogram/pulse plethysmogram is often used as a proximal/distal pulse wave. The PTT is an indicator of blood vessel stiffness. The blood vessel wall tension increases with increasing blood pressure. As a result, the pulse wave moves faster and the PTT decreases. The aim of this thesis is to investigate to what extent the circulatory function of a patient can be monitored during dialysis using the PTT with regard to problematic blood pressure drops

The anchoring of the anti-fascist founding myth in the literature classes of the GDR

Der hiermit vorgelegte Beitrag knüpft an bisherige Forschungen zum antifaschistischen Gründungsmythos als systemkonsolidierendem Narrativ der DDR an. Er richtet den Blick auf den Deutschunterricht, um zu ermitteln, inwiefern der in Lehrplänen und Unterrichtshilfen nahegelegte Beitrag der Unterrichtsarbeit zur Mythenstiftung Eingang in praktisches Handeln von DDR-Lehrkräften fand. Dabei kann anhand der Beschäftigung mit den literarischen Texten „Das siebte Kreuz“, „Nackt unter Wölfen“ und „Die Abenteuer des Werner Holt“ in den 1960er, 1970er und 1980er Jahren gezeigt werden, dass der Literaturunterricht tatsächlich zentrale Mytheme aufgreift, hierbei vor allem die zwingende Verbindung von Kapitalismus und Faschismus, die Einordnung der Arbeiterklasse als grundsätzlich antifaschistisch und größte Gegnerschaft der Faschist*innen und die Präsentation der Kommunist*innen als einzige wahre Führung des deutschen Antifaschismus. Gleichzeitig kann der Beitrag Veränderungen hinsichtlich der mit dem antifaschistischen Gründungsmythos verbundenen Erziehungsziele aufzeigen und damit eine bislang nicht erfolgte Ausdifferenzierung der mythenstiftenden Unterrichtsarbeit vornehmen.This article ties in with previous research on the anti-fascist founding myth as a system-consolidating narrative of the GDR. It focuses on German language and literature lessons in order to determine the extent to which the contribution of classroom work to the creation of myths, as suggested by curricula and teaching aids, found its way into the practical actions of GDR teachers. By examining the literary texts "The Seventh Cross," "Naked Among Wolves," and "The Adventures of Werner Holt" in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, it can be shown that the teaching of literature did indeed take up central myths, especially the compelling connection between capitalism and fascism, the classification of the working class as fundamentally anti-fascist and the greatest opponent of fascists, and the presentation of communists as the only true leadership of German anti-fascism. At the same time, the article can show changes with regard to the educational goals associated with the anti-fascist founding myth and thus make a differentiation of the myth-creating teaching work that has not been made so far

Information-theoretic analysis of non-cooperative and cooperative remote sensing

This work addresses the optimization of distributed compression in a sensor network. In particular, distributed sensors measure noisy versions of the same process of interest and try to forward their measurements over capacity-limited links to a common receiver. If direct communication among sensors is not possible, this setup is widely known as the CEO problem. This work focuses on an implementation point of view to solve this problem as well as an information-theoretic analysis of the proposed algorithms
