Biomechanical energy harvesting in domestic animals for potential application in a GPS geolocation system: 9CP25-2

Artificial intelligence, the link between databases and the fight against corruption. Mexico case
Within the framework of Mexican regulations on transparency and anti-corruption, two large open databases have been institutionalized for the three levels of government, the National Transparency Platform (ntp) and the National Digital Platform (ndp). Despite the government efforts to integrate these open databases with information of general interest, no favorable impact is observed on the perception of corruption. This is why this document aims to identify the significance and operational challenges of the ntp and the ndp to establish itself as anti-corruption tools. In this sense it will be pertinent to carry out a documentary investigation, emphasizing the operational aspects, highlighting the viability of the use of artificial intelligence to assist the authorities in matters of administrative responsibility in the tasks of preventing, identifying and punishing offenses, administrative actions and acts of corruption, based on analyzing large amounts of publicly available data
Experience in the use of artificiali in higher education: The case of Tecnológico Nacional de México
Artificial intelligence (ai) offers multiple benefits as a tool to improve and transform education derived from the personalization of teaching. In recent generations it has played an important role in school performance. This research aimed to assess the experience of higher education students at the Tecnológico Nacional de México campus Los Cabos regarding the use of artificial intelligence using mixed methodology to guide the research. The results indicated that students use ai in their learning process mainly to consult information. Among the most used technologies are the chatbot and generative tools. They found advantages in its use on access to information and personalized learning; among the disadvantages were identified the ethics of information processing and the need to have certain skills for efficient use. Regarding the experience in general it was stated that the treatment of information is a relevant point about plagiarism and the information obtained since they considered that redundancies and non-updated answers are given. It is concluded that these technologies are present in the academy; therefore, pertinent strategies must be implemented to take care of the IA management domain
Mathematical journal as strategy to develop skills in learning addition
This paper explores the use of the mathematical journal as a teaching strategy to develop addition skills in second-grade elementary school students. The intervention was carried out with a group of 28 students from an elementary school in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, who were assigned a specific notebook to document addition problems based on everyday situations. The methodology included initial activities, increasing the complexity of the problems, and contextualizing them in practical scenarios. The results indicate that this tool not only improved numerical skills but also fostered critical thinking and motivation toward mathematics. Students showed greater willingness to participate and contextualized mathematical problems in their daily lives, which facilitated meaningful learning. This innovative approach adds value by considering both the students' sociocultural context and their daily experiences, promoting more inclusive learning. The implementation of the mathematical journal as a teaching resource proved effective in improving addition skills and strengthening students' commitment to mathematics
