The first article, “Overview of Oil and Gas Activities in the Amazonian Territories,” explores the Amazon region’s complex dynamics, the coordination of multinational polices, energy development, and Brazil’s efforts to balance resource use with environmental protection. The second article, “Fixing the Last Frontier: How Law and Policy Governing Commerical Fishing have Failed Alaska’s Environment and Economy,” dives into Alaska’s fishing industry, highlighting its impact and environmental history and the current challenges it faces. The third article, “Infrastructure, Equity and Climate Change: The Promise of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA),” features a discussion on IIJA’s impact on climate justice.
