    Socioeconomic influence on environmental awareness regarding willingness to use public transportation among formal workers

    Background: This study investigates the influence of socioeconomic status on environmental awareness and behaviors, particularly in relation to public transportation usage among formal workers in the Jabodetabek area. It highlights how factors such as income and education shape attitudes toward sustainability, with higher socioeconomic groups demonstrating greater environmental concern and engagement in eco-friendly practices. Despite this awareness, barriers including poor public transportation quality, high costs, and accessibility issues deter usage, leading many workers to prefer private vehicles due to safety concerns and system inefficiencies. Methods: A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing random sampling and an online questionnaire, yielding 100 valid responses analyzed through SPSS. Findings: The findings reveal that while socioeconomic factors correlate with environmental awareness, they do not directly influence public transportation use; instead, the quality of public transport significantly impacts willingness to use it. Limitations include a small, homogeneous sample, suggesting the need for future research to encompass a broader demographic. Conclusion: Proposed solutions to enhance public transportation include increasing service frequency, expanding coverage, and implementing traffic regulations that prioritize public transport. These improvements require collaboration among stakeholders to foster sustainable urban living and reduce environmental degradation.     Understanding the behavioral drivers of electric motorcycle adoption: A stimulus-organism-response perspective

    Background: This study investigates the influence of consumer experience, attitude, and perception on the intention to adopt electric motorcycles. Electric motorcycles are highly effective in reducing dependence on fossil fuels, thereby minimizing environmental pollution (CO2 emissions). Based on the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) framework, this study aims to explore whether the experience of riding an electric motorcycle affects consumers' cognition and emotions (perceived relative advantage, perceived ease of use, perceived risk) in adopting electric motorcycles. Methods: Data were collected from 112 respondents in the Jabodetabek area who participated in an electric motorcycle test drive. The collected data were analyzed using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. Findings: The analysis results indicate that the experience of riding an electric motorcycle does not directly influence consumer intention to adopt electric motorcycles. However, it stimulates adoption intention through perceived relative advantage, perceived ease of use, and perceived risk. Conclusion: This study helps identify key factors that can enhance consumer intention to adopt electric motorcycles. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study provides new insights into the mediating role of perceived relative advantage, perceived ease of use, and perceived risk in the adoption process of electric motorcycles, contributing to the understanding of consumer behavior in the transition towards sustainable transportation

    Background: The main challenges that is very crucial in modern agriculture is an effort to increase efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness of agricultural products. The implementation of modern agricultural technology still faces various challenges. Tanimart is based on BUMDes and Blockchain to realize marketing of agricultural products in accordance with Good Distribution Practice to achieve modern agricultural technology.  Methods: This element should describe the general procedures or technique, data collection technique, and analytical methods. Likewise, if the study is literature review, then the author should state the theoretical component. Findings: This program is implemented through cooperation with BUMDes. Tanimart is formulated by being characterized by Smart (Specific, Measurable, Acceptable, Realistic, Time Bound). Analysis of the development of Tanimart's ideas uses utilizing the concept of Public Relationship (PR), Roadshow, and Key Opinion Leader Endorsment Key Opinion Leader (KOL). This application offers double features, namely for farmers and consumers. The features include monitoring the harvest period. Tracking product stock, training, consultation, and farmers' community. Conclusion: The Tanimart application is designed to be realized within 12 months. Novelty/Originality of this article: Through the Tanimart application, it is expected to provide effective policy and strategy recommendations to overcome the obstacles or challenges of the era and accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology

The development of horticultural crops in Indonesia has experienced quite significant growth in the last few decades. This is related to improved agricultural techniques, superior varieties, and a better understanding of horticultural crop cultivation. In this regard, in order to achieve global food security and support sustainable agriculture, it is important for a country or region to have a good transportation system and adequate logistics infrastructure. This article aims to observe and analyze the process of distribution and transportation of horticultural products in Indonesia. Apart from that, this article will also present an analysis of the obstacles and potential that may arise in the transportation process of these horticultural products. Method: This article uses the literature review method to achieve its objectives. Scopus will be the main reference and literature source used in answering assignment questions. Conslusion: The results show that Indonesia faces several obstacles to the transportation of horticultural products such as inadequate infrastructure, limited suitable vehicles, poor road conditions, regulations and bureaucracy, warehousing problems, food contamination and safety, climate change and natural disasters, seasonal changes in production, costs high transport, limitations of refrigeration and climate control

    Introduction: Urbanization refers to the increasing proportion of people residing in large cities. The growth and urbanization of the global human population have escalated rapidly over the past 50 years. DKI Jakarta, as the capital of Indonesia, has also experienced rapid population growth and urbanization, with a population growth rate of 0.94% per year. The aim of this study is to understand the population conditions and causes of urbanization in Jakarta, as well as to identify the social, economic, and environmental impacts resulting from this urbanization process. Method: The approach and method used in this paper are qualitative. Conclusion: Physical, socio-economic, and environmental factors significantly influence population and urban expansion. Some causes of urbanization include: industrial revolution; industrialization post-industrial revolution; emergence of large manufacturing centers; job opportunities; availability of easy transportation; migration. Urbanization in Jakarta has led to the existence of slums, increased transportation activities, increased demand for residential and commercial land, lack of job creation opportunities, and insufficient infrastructure development. The positive impact of urbanization is the development of capital networks, knowledge networks, and information networks.     Background : The need to enhance agricultural productivity while ensuring sustainability in the modern era has become increasingly urgent. One of the challenges faced is inefficiency in irrigation, which can lead to water wastage, land degradation, and reduced agricultural productivity, thereby threatening the sustainability of this sector. This scientific paper aims to find a solution by developing an automated irrigation system based on artificial intelligence technology that can support and enhance efficiency and sustainability in integrated agriculture. Methods: Data collection for this paper employed documentary study techniques. The data used as supporting references were obtained from journals and other credible sources relevant to the discussed topic. Findings: Based on the results of the documentary study, AI technology can assist farmers in efficiently managing their land. With an automated irrigation system, farmers' tasks can be carried out more easily, and water resources are utilized only as needed. Furthermore, energy consumption is significantly reduced, leading to overall cost savings and high cost efficiency. Efficiency in irrigation and water management ensures that crops and harvests receive only the necessary amount of water, thereby minimizing waste caused by both water shortages and excesses. Conclusion: he implementation of an automated irrigation system based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology can enhance the efficiency and sustainability of integrated agriculture by adjusting water usage based on real-time weather data and soil conditions. However, several unresolved challenges remain in applying this technology. Novelty/Originality of this article: This article introduces an AI-based automated irrigation system designed for sustainable agriculture. It optimizes water use by leveraging real-time weather and soil data, thereby enhancing both productivity and sustainability. By addressing barriers to technology adoption, this study provides valuable insights for future research, demonstrating the economic viability and efficiency of AI-driven irrigation systems for farmers

    Introduction: Tangerang City is part of the Banten Province region located in the easternmost part and directly borders the West Region of DKI Jakarta. As a buffer area and directly impacted by social activities with DKI Jakarta, Tangerang City has a significant influence in realizing the DKI Jakarta Region as the core area of the national strategic area program from the aspect of economic growth as stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 60 of 2020 concerning the Urban Spatial Plan of Jakarta, Bogor Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Puncak, Cianjur. With the establishment of this regulation, urban spatial planning in Tangerang City must support and orient towards the Metropolitan City capable of supporting the development of DKI Jakarta as the core area of the national strategic area, one of which is by meeting the needs of the community who want to be active in DKI Jakarta. Method: Through literature studies, the author tries to analyze how far the Tangerang City Government’s efforts in providing adequate mass transportation infrastructure in terms of quantity, easy access, modern, smart, environmentally friendly, timely, and integrated with the DKI Jakarta Region.

    Analysis of factors influencing consumer purchase intention for electric vehicles in Jabodetabek

    Background: Electric vehicles (EVs) have garnered increasing interest as sustainable alternatives to conventional cars, particularly in urban areas like Jabodetabek, Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing consumer purchase intention for electric vehicles in Jabodetabek, focusing on attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, cognitive status, product attributes, and incentive policies. Previous literature highlights the importance of behavioral theories and marketing strategies in shaping consumer intentions toward sustainable transportation options. Methods: The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey to collect data from a diverse sample of respondents in Jabodetabek. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for data analysis, specifically the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, to examine the relationships between the identified factors and purchase intention. Findings: The analysis revealed that attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control significantly influence purchase intention, with effect sizes of 0.35, 0.25, and 0.20, respectively, all statistically significant at p < 0.05. Additionally, product attributes and monetary incentive policies were found to play essential roles in shaping consumer preferences, while non-monetary incentives exhibited a moderate impact. Conclusion: his study concludes that enhancing consumer attitudes and perceptions regarding electric vehicles, alongside effective incentive policies, is crucial for promoting EV adoption in Jabodetabek. Novelty/Originality of this article: This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing a comprehensive analysis of specific psychological and socio-economic factors affecting purchase intentions for electric vehicles in a developing urban context, an area that has been underexplored in prior studies

    The impact of driving experience on consumer adoption intentions of electric motorcycles: An analysis of perceived advantage, ease of use, and risk factors

    Background: his study investigates consumer attitudes and perceptions toward adopting electric motorcycles, focusing on the perceived relative advantage, ease of use, and risk associated with usage. The aim is to examine how driving experience influences these perceptions and ultimately impacts the intention to adopt electric motorcycles. Previous studies have highlighted the relevance of consumer perceptions in adoption decisions, yet few have examined the influence of direct driving experience on perceived advantages, ease of use, and risks associated with electric motorcycles. Methods: A quantitative approach was applied, involving survey-based data collection from a sample of respondents with varying levels of driving experience with electric motorcycles. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. Findings: Findings indicate that driving experience significantly enhances the perceived relative advantage and ease of use, while reducing perceived risk. These factors, in turn, positively influence adoption intentions, demonstrating that driving experience indirectly impacts adoption by shaping perceptions of advantage, ease, and risk. However, direct effects of driving experience on adoption intention were not observed. Expanding on prior research, this study provides insights into how experience shapes consumer perspectives on electric motorcycles, thus contributing to understanding adoption behavior in this sector. Conclusion: driving trials appear essential in promoting adoption, as they cultivate positive perceptions that drive consumer intent. Novelty/Originality of this article: The novelty of this study lies in highlighting the role of experiential factors as indirect mediators of adoption intentions, providing a unique perspective in the context of electric motorcycle adoption

    Introduction: The Indonesian government, particularly the Jakarta Provincial Government, has been conducting land reorganization, including forced evictions, to create environmental protection areas. This reorganization is aimed at various projects such as normalization, area revitalization, and infrastructure development. Method: Data regarding these policies have been collected and analyzed qualitatively. Reorganization has been carried out in 16 villages in Jakarta, which are located in protective function areas with high disaster vulnerability. Conclusion:. One of them is Kampung Akuarium, which is part of the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD) program to prevent Jakarta from sinking due to flooding and abrasion. However, this reorganization and relocation have caused socio-economic impacts, such as loss of property and limitations on social activities. Therefore, in planning the first stage of village organization, it is necessary to consider aspects of multi-disaster vulnerability and socio-economic impacts on the community
