Mortars with phase change materials-Part II: Durability evaluation
abstractEN: The industry of construction is responsible for the high consumption of raw materials, energy and waste production. As such, it becomes imperative to develop and study new constructive solutions with greater sustainable value. The mortars with incorporation of phase change materials (PCM) have the ability to regulate the temperature inside buildings, contributing to the thermal comfort and reducing the use of heating and cooling equipment, using only the energy supplied by the sun. However, the incorporation of phase change materials in mortars modifies its characteristics. The main focus of this study was the durability of mortars with PCM incorporation based in different binders. The binders studied were aerial lime, hydraulic lime, gypsum and cement. For each type of binder, different mortars were developed with different content of PCM. The proportion of PCM studied was 0% and 40% of the mass of the sand. It was possible to observe that the incorporation of PCM in mortars caused differences in propertiscore: 8collation: 33-4
The Influence of Laser Treatment and the Application of Reduced Pressure Force Piston Rings on the Engine Exhaust Emissions under the Conditions of Engine Lubrication with Different Engine Oils
abstractEN: The paper discusses the investigations on combustion engines that aim at the evaluation of the influence of engine design modifications on the exhaust emissions under application of lubricants of different physicochemical parameters. In the engines the authors applied laser treated cylinder liners, piston rings of reduced pressure force on the cylinder liner and optimized the assembling clearances in the slide bearings. The research was carried out in accordance with the ESC and ELR compliant procedures using different engine lubricants. The measurement series were performed for diesel engines of the capacity of 1.3 dm3 of the power outputs of 51 kW and 66 kW. The tested objects were fitted with aftertreatment systems (oxycat and DPF filter).score: 7collation: 102-10

Tensile Properties of Polymer Repair Materials - effect of test parameters
abstractEN: In this research, five types of polymer repair materials were selected for investigation ofthe influence of sample shape, deformation rate and test temperature on the mechanical propertiesdetermined with an uniaxial tensile test. The results showed the clear effect of measurementconditions on tensile strength, elongation and modulus of elasticity. The highest tensile strength andmodulus of elasticity were exhibited by epoxy resin for the filling of concrete cracks, whichachieved 1% elongation. The lowest coefficient of dispersion characterized the results of tensile testcarried out using dumbbell samples at a deformation rate of 50 mm/min. The effect of temperaturevaried with the material typescore: 7collation: 445-45
Development of the Operation Algorithm for a Automated System Assessing the High-rise Building
abstractEN: This article presents the algorithm of monitoring a high-rise building as a complex object. The functional areas (strata) of a high-rise building are considered and certain mathematical modelsand algorithms describing the process of monitoring a high-rise building are presented. Thedeveloped system using this algorithm should allow real-time monitoring of the life supportsystems, making better decisions in the event of unusual situations.score: 5collation: 230-23
