IDENTIFIKASI GAYA BELAJAR VAK MELALUI EDUKASI PARENTING DI SD ASSUNNIYAH KENCONG JEMBER
Abstract. This community service program aimed to identify the distribution of Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles among prospective first-grade students and to enhance parental understanding through school–family partnership-based parenting education. A participatory community-based approach with a descriptive-educational intervention design was employed. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and observations involving 30 prospective students, followed by an interactive parenting session. The findings revealed that 40% of students demonstrated a visual learning tendency, while auditory and kinesthetic preferences each accounted for 30%. These results highlight the importance of implementing multisensory instructional strategies in early primary education. Furthermore, 83% of parents demonstrated improved understanding of their children’s learning characteristics, and 78% expressed readiness to apply supportive learning strategies at home. The program confirms that integrating learning style identification with parenting education effectively strengthens school–family collaboration in supporting school readiness. Future initiatives should include longitudinal monitoring to assess long-term impacts on student adaptation and academic achievement
STRATEGI PENDIDIKAN ANTI-NARKOBA DALAM MEMBANGUN KARAKTER KEPIMPINAN REMAJA BERINTEGRITAS
Penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja merupakan masalah kompleks yang memiliki implikasi serius terhadap kualitas pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Masa remaja merupakan fase perkembangan yang sangat rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan sosial, tekanan teman sebaya, dan arus informasi yang tidak terkendali, sehingga meningkatkan risiko perilaku menyimpang, termasuk penyalahgunaan narkoba. Dalam konteks ini, pendidikan memainkan peran strategis tidak hanya sebagai sarana penyebaran pengetahuan tentang bahaya narkoba tetapi juga sebagai instrumen pembentukan karakter dan penguatan nilai-nilai integritas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan melalui strategi pendidikan anti-narkoba berbasis karakter menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Pendekatan pendidikan yang partisipatif, sistematis, dan terintegrasi secara moral telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan ketahanan pribadi remaja dalam menghadapi pengaruh negatif narkoba. Remaja tidak hanya mengalami peningkatan dalam aspek kognitif yang berkaitan dengan kesadaran akan narkoba, tetapi juga menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam dimensi afektif dan perilaku, seperti keberanian untuk menolak pengaruh negatif teman sebaya, kemampuan untuk membuat keputusan yang sehat, dan peningkatan rasa tanggung jawab sosial. Temuan program ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi pendidikan karakter dan pendidikan anti-narkoba merupakan model pencegahan yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Strategi ini berpotensi untuk direplikasi dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan tinggi, sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat untuk membina generasi muda yang bercirikan integritas, kesehatan, dan martabat
Living Tradition Of Hadhrami Sufism: Ethical Actualization Of Al-Haddadiyyah Teachings In Indonesian Islamic Boarding Schools
The globalization of Islamic traditions through diaspora movements presents a unique opportunity to examine how classical Sufi teachings adapt to contemporary socio-religious contexts. This study investigates the actualization of Al-Haddadiyyah Sufi ethics within Indonesian Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), focusing on how Abdullah bin Alawi Al-Haddad's six core humanistic values explicitly articulated in his works, particularly Nasaih al-Diniyah and Risalat al-Muawanah are transmitted, interpreted, and practiced in daily educational life. Through qualitative field research in three pesantren in East Java, Indonesia, this study explores: (1) the pedagogical mechanisms of transmitting Al-Haddad's ethical teachings, (2) the manifestation of six core humanistic values in pesantren community life, and (3) the synthesis between classical Sufi wisdom and modern educational challenges. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with kyai (religious leaders), ustadz (teachers), and santri (students), and documentation analysis. Findings reveal that Al-Haddadiyyah ethics are not merely preserved as textual heritage but are dynamically actualized through habitual practices (ta'wid), communal rituals (majalis), and interpersonal relationships. The values of kaff al-adza (non-harm), al-mu'awanah (mutual assistance), al-shohbat (companionship), al-'adlu (justice), al-rifq (gentleness), and al-tasamuh (tolerance) function as living ethical frameworks that address contemporary issues such as bullying, intolerance, and moral degradation among youth. This research contributes to Islamic Civilization studies by demonstrating how Hadhrami Sufi traditions maintain their relevance through adaptive transmission while preserving their essential spiritual-ethical core, offering insights into the enduring vitality of Islamic educational traditions in modern contexts
Religious Piety as Commodity: Political Economy of Muslim Women’s Consumption in Hijabersmom Community (HMC)
The culture of consumption among contemporary Muslims demonstrates that religious expression is no longer confined to ritual observance but is increasingly manifested through symbols, Islamic lifestyles, and consumption choices that affirm particular forms of religious identity. While previous scholarship has extensively examined Muslim consumption in relation to religiosity, halal products, and Islamic fashion, limited attention has been devoted to understanding religious piety as a commodity constructed through everyday consumption practices. This study seeks to critically examine how values of piety are socially constructed and how the mechanisms of religious commodification operate within a Hijabersmom Community (HMC) in Deltasari, Sidoarjo. To capture this social reality, the study employs a qualitative-interpretive approach through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and the examination of community documents. Theoretically, the analysis is situated within a political economy framework by synthesizing perspectives on the commodification of religion, consumption practices among the Muslim middle class, and the expanding dynamics of the Islamic lifestyle economy. The findings indicate that the construction of piety within the community manifests through three principal dimensions: ritual observance, social relations (muamalah), and symbolic expression, particularly through the adoption of shar‘i fashion as a marker of collective identity. Furthermore, the community functions not merely as a spiritual sanctuary but also as a dynamic economic arena in which commodities, including Muslim fashion, culinary products, and household necessities, are exchanged among members. This study concludes that contemporary religious communities increasingly operate as hybrid social spaces where spirituality, middle-class identity, and economic interests intersect within the everyday lives of urban Muslim women
A Comparative Fiqh Analysis of Online Buying and Selling Transactions: Perspectives of the Four Madhhabs in Madzāhibu al-Arba'ah
This study aims to examine and comparatively analyze the perspectives of the four Sunni madhhabs Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali on online buying and selling transactions by referring to Madzāhibu al-Arba'ah by Abdurrahman Al-Juzairi, with a focus on identifying points of convergence and divergence relevant to contemporary digital commerce. While previous studies have generally addressed online transactions from a broad Islamic law perspective, few have conducted a systematic comparative analysis rooted in classical fiqh turath across all four madhhabs simultaneously. This study employs a normative qualitative library research method with a comparative fiqh approach, using Madzāhibu al-Arba'ah as the primary source and supported by contemporary fiqh muamalah literature, international journal articles on Islamic e-commerce, and relevant regulatory documents. Data were analyzed through descriptive-analytical and comparative methods to examine the pillars and conditions of sale, ijab-qabul, clarity of object, and the concept of ittihād al-majlis in online transactions. The findings reveal that all four madhhabs permit online buying and selling through analogical reasoning with bai' al-salam, yet differ significantly in their interpretations of sighat and ittihād al-majlis: the Hanafi and Hanbali schools adopt a more flexible stance on the form of ijab-qabul, the Shafi'i school emphasizes the continuity of the contract session and explicit sighah, while the Maliki school prioritizes public benefit through 'urf and maṣlaḥah mursalah. This study contributes a structured comparative framework that translates classical contract elements into their digital equivalents, offering normative guidance for Islamic e-commerce practice and sharia-compliant digital transaction governance
Implementasi Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi pada Kelas Inklusif di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction in inclusive classrooms at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing its implementation. The research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study design. The research participants included classroom teachers of grades II, III, and V, the school principal, and students with special educational needs. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking. The findings reveal that differentiated instruction was implemented through adjustments in content, process, product, and learning environment. Teachers simplified learning materials for slow learners, provided concise and step-by-step instructions for students with ADHD, and offered alternative task formats for students with anxiety disorders. Differentiation was also reflected in flexible grouping, scaffolding strategies, positive reinforcement, modified assessment standards, and flexible time allocation. Supporting factors included teachers’ commitment, active communication with parents, and an inclusive school culture. Meanwhile, limitations in supporting facilities and the absence of permanent special assistant teachers were identified as inhibiting factors. The study concludes that differentiated instruction serves as an effective pedagogical strategy to promote participatory and adaptive inclusive education in Islamic elementary schools.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di kelas inklusif di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas II, III, dan V, kepala madrasah, serta peserta didik inklusi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di kelas inklusif dilaksanakan melalui penyesuaian pada aspek konten, proses, produk, dan lingkungan belajar. Guru melakukan penyederhanaan materi bagi siswa slow learner, memberikan instruksi singkat dan bertahap bagi siswa dengan ADHD, serta menyediakan alternatif bentuk tugas bagi siswa dengan anxiety disorder. Diferensiasi juga diterapkan melalui pengelompokan fleksibel, scaffolding, penguatan positif, modifikasi standar penilaian, serta fleksibilitas waktu pengerjaan tugas. Faktor pendukung implementasi meliputi komitmen guru, komunikasi dengan orang tua, dan budaya sekolah yang inklusif. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan sarana pendukung dan belum tersedianya guru pendamping khusus secara permanen. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi strategi pedagogis yang efektif dalam mewujudkan pendidikan inklusif yang partisipatif dan adaptif di madrasah ibtidaiyah
The Conceptualization Of Universal Man As The Economic Agent For Islamic Economics
Along with the development of the times and the progress of Islamic economics as an alternative economic paradigm, there are fundamental problems that have not been resolved in scientific studies remain, both from the economic agent model regarding homo economicus and homo Islamicus. As the dominant model of economic agents in conventional economics and Islamic economics, each fails to represent the actual human economic behavior that occurs, creating a constant gap between theoretical idealization and empirical reality. Meanwhile, homo economicus degrades human motivation to self-interest and maximizes utility. Homo Islamicus as a model of agents is highly demanding of a high standard of behavior based on piety and which realistically cannot be observed in real economic settings. This research overcomes the gap through a qualitative approach conducting a systematic comparative literature analysis based on a three-dimensional microfundamental framework: main purpose, means, and virtues. This study argues that the concept of the 'universal man being' defined by gradual well-being as a goal, the Dominant Active Human Element (DAHE) as a means, and justice as the main virtue, are more empirically based and epistemologically coherent economic agents for Islamic economics. The findings show that the universal man being bridges the gap between theory and reality while remaining consistent with Islamic epistemological sources. Theoretically, this research provides a reconceptualized microfoundation for Islamic economics that goes beyond the limitations of both existing economic agent models, with broader relevance to heterodox economic theory and human-centered development discourse
PELATIHAN FIKIH WANITA: MEMAHAMI HAID DAN ISTIHADHOH SECARA KOMPREHENSIF BAGI MUSLIMAT NU GUMUKMAS
Permasalahan mengenai fikih Wanita khususnya haid dan istihadhoh Adalah perkara yang sangat penting untuk difahami oleh tiap Muslimah, namun faktanya kondisi pemahaman perempuan Muslim mengenai haid dan istihadlah saat ini menunjukkan adanya variasi yang signifikan, begitu pula ibu ibu muslimat dan fatayat NU, padahal sangat erat kaitannya dengan ibadah sehari-hari. Sehingga upaya pengadaan pelatihan fikih Wanita untuk Muslimah sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) Pendekatan ini memungkinkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam seluruh proses mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga refleksi. pengabdian ini melibatkan ibu-ibu muslimat NU kecamatan Gumukmas sebagai peserta, dan berkolaborasi Bersama penyuluh dari KUA Gumukmas, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman ibu-ibu muslimat NU mengenai fikih Wanita, khususnya haid, nifas dan istihadhoh. Pelatihan fikih Wanita ini mampu memberikan dampak berupa peningkatan pemahaman ibu-ibu muslimat NU Gumukmas yang lebih komprehensif, dan besar harapan ibu-ibu muslimat NU ini mampu menyampaikan kembali pemahaman fikih Wanita di lingkungan sekitarnya
Pelatihan Pembacaan Al-Qur'an Berbasis Akhir Pekan: Sebuah Model untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Tilawah pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to describe the implementation of the weekend bertilawah program and analyze its contribution to improving the Qur'an recitation skills of students. This study used a qualitative, case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that the weekend bertilawah program was implemented in a structured manner, utilizing weekends as a more intensive learning space. The learning strategies implemented included direct examples, repeated practice, and personalized guidance tailored to the students' ability levels. This program has been proven to improve Qur'an recitation skills, including tajweed accuracy, clarity of pronunciation, voice quality, and rhythmic mastery. Furthermore, the program also contributed to increasing students' confidence in reciting Qur'anic verses. The program's success was supported by a conducive learning environment, the active role of instructors, and student enthusiasm. However, several obstacles were encountered, such as time constraints, differences in ability among students, and inconsistent attendance. Overall, the weekend bertilawah program is considered effective as a learning alternative for continuously improving Quran recitation skillsPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program weekend bertilawah serta menganalisis kontribusinya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan seni baca Al-Qur’an santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program weekend bertilawah dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dengan memanfaatkan waktu akhir pekan sebagai ruang pembelajaran yang lebih intensif. Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan meliputi pemberian contoh langsung, latihan berulang, serta bimbingan personal yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kemampuan santri. Program ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan seni baca Al-Qur’an, baik dari aspek ketepatan tajwid, kejelasan makhraj, kualitas suara, maupun penguasaan irama. Selain itu, program ini juga berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri santri dalam melantunkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Keberhasilan program didukung oleh lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, peran aktif pembina, serta antusiasme santri. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan waktu, perbedaan kemampuan antar santri, dan tingkat kehadiran yang belum konsisten. Secara keseluruhan, program weekend bertilawah dinilai efektif sebagai alternatif pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan seni baca Al-Qur’an secara berkelanjuta
PELATIHAN DIGITAL PARENTING DALAM MENDIDIK ANAK SECARA BIJAK DI ERA GEMPURAN KONEKTIVITAS GLOBAL
Perkembangan teknologi digital dan meningkatnya konektivitas global menuntut orang tua memiliki kompetensi dalam melakukan pengasuhan digital (digital parenting). Program pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman orang tua mengenai praktik pengasuhan digital yang bijak serta keterampilan teknis dalam mendampingi anak saat menggunakan internet. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif melalui penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), dan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 80%, ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor rata-rata dari kategori cukup menjadi baik pada aspek literasi digital dasar, kemampuan mengarahkan aktivitas daring edukatif, serta praktik pendampingan. Sebanyak 20% peserta masih menghadapi kendala teknis, terutama dalam mengoperasikan fitur parental control dan manajemen waktu pendampingan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan digital parenting efektif meningkatkan kesiapan orang tua dalam menghadapi risiko penggunaan teknologi pada anak, namun masih diperlukan intervensi lanjutan yang bersifat praktis dan berkelanjutan
