Nashville Bible School Class 1902
A picture of some of the students of the Nashville Bible School (now Lipscomb University) first graduating class in 1902. According to the back of the picture, the students are, from left to right, Bessie McCandiss? Baghed?, Cuna? Daucham?, Bessie Boyer Gallagher, and an unknown student.
Bessie Boyer Gallagher hand made the white blouses for all four for graduation.

William Anderson, 2nd President 1901-1905
William Anderson was the second president of the Nashville Bible School (now Lipscomb University). He was educated at Franklin College. Some milestones during his presidency include the first degrees conferred (1902), the Lipscomb farm became the campus (1903), and literary societies organized. James A. Harding, 1st President 1891-1901
James A. Harding was the first president of the Nashville Bible School (now Lipscomb University). He attended Bethany College. Some of the milestones of his presidency include being the first superintendent of the school, opening the first session in October 1891 with 9 students, creating the first college catalogue in 1894, graduating the first class (5 men awarded diplomas), and chartering the Nashville Bible School on February 2, 1901.https://digitalcollections.lipscomb.edu/historical_photos/1000/thumbnail.jp
