IT challenges of speech therapy and physiotherapy of the oral-facial tract

Logopedię i fizjoterapię układu ustno-twarzowego można już skutecznie wspierać rozwiązaniami informatycznymi, zarówno w obszarze diagnostyki, jak i terapii. Wymaga to jednak zintegrowanego podejścia, opartego na interdyscyplinarnej współpracy logopedów, fizjoterapeutów i informatyków. Celem artykułu jest ocena, w jakim stopniu obecne możliwości informatyki są wykorzystywan dla wsparcia diragnostyki i terapii w logopedii i fizjoterapii traktuv oro-facjalnego oraz określenie potencjału do ich dalszego stymulowanego rozwoju.Speech therapy and physiotherapy of the oro-facial tract can already be effectively supported by IT solutions, both in the area of diagnosis and therapy. However, this requires an integrated approach based on interdisciplinary cooperation between speech therapists, physiotherapists and computer scientists. The aim of the article is to assess the extent to which current IT capabilities are used to support diagnostics and therapy in speech therapy and physiotherapy in the oro-facial tract and to determine the potential for their further stimulated development

Rola turystyki wiejskiej w zrównoważonym rozwoju obszarów wiejskich na przykładzie Kaszub

The Kashubia region is characterized by its rich history and unique folklore, beautiful landscape, natural wealth, clean lakes and magnificent beaches of the Polish coast. Kashubia is also known for its unique language, cuisine, historical sites and music and art. It is undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful corners of Poland. The purpose of the study was to present and characterize the role of rural tourism in the sustainable development of rural areas and to assess the degree of its development in a sustainable direction. The study showed the forms and types of rural tourism and its functions. An important element of the study was the evaluation of tourism development, including accommodation and accompanying facilities in accordance with the concept of green economy, which has a special role in the development of rural areas, due to the fact that it is based on natural resources. The spatial scope concerns the area of historic Kashubia within the administrative boundaries of the three counties of Pomorskie Voivodeship (i.e., Koscierzyna, Chojnice and Kashubia counties). The paper uses a spatial analysis based on data from the Central Statistical Office (CSO) and a survey conducted in 2021-2023. The results of the study clearly indicate that there has been significant progress in the development of tourism infrastructure during the period under review. Rural tourism can contribute to the development of sustainable rural areas of Kashubia, in line with the current of the green economy concept. Of particular importance is folklore and folk art, including folklore events; harvest festivals, festivals, folk concerts and the activities of agrotourism farms, which combine the tradition of the farming profession with environmental protection and promotion of the Kashubian region.Region Kaszub charakteryzuje się bogatą historią i niepowtarzalnym folklorem, pięknym krajobrazem, bogactwem przyrody, czystymi jeziorami i wspaniałymi plażami polskiego wybrzeża. Kaszuby słyną również z unikalnego języka, kuchni, zabytków oraz muzyki i sztuki. To niewątpliwie jeden z najpiękniejszych zakątków Polski. Celem pracy było przedstawienie i scharakteryzowanie roli turystyki wiejskiej w zrównoważonym rozwoju obszarów wiejskich oraz ocena stopnia jej rozwoju w kierunku zrównoważonym. W opracowaniu przedstawiono formy i rodzaje turystyki wiejskiej oraz jej funkcje. Ważnym elementem opracowania była ocena zagospodarowania turystycznego, w tym bazy noclegowej i obiektów towarzyszących zgodnie z koncepcją zielonej gospodarki, która pełni szczególną rolę w rozwoju obszarów wiejskich, ze względu na fakt, że bazuje na zasobach naturalnych. Zakres przestrzenny dotyczy obszaru historycznych Kaszub w granicach administracyjnych trzech powiatów województwa pomorskiego (tj. powiatu kościerskiego, chojnickiego i kaszubskiego). W artykule wykorzystano analizę przestrzenną opartą na danych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego (GUS) oraz badaniu ankietowym przeprowadzonym w latach 2021-2023. Wyniki badania wyraźnie wskazują, że w badanym okresie nastąpił znaczny postęp w rozwoju infrastruktury turystycznej. Turystyka wiejska może przyczynić się do rozwoju zrównoważonego obszarów wiejskich Kaszub, zgodnie z nurtem koncepcji zielonej gospodarki. Szczególne znaczenie ma folklor i sztuka ludowa, w tym imprezy folklorystyczne; dożynki, festyny, koncerty folklorystyczne oraz działalność gospodarstw agroturystycznych, które łączą tradycję zawodu rolnika z ochroną środowiska i promocją regionu kaszubskiego

This article discusses the teacher’s cooperation with parents of pupils with special educational needs located in the teacher’s workspace. The various conditions of this cooperation are presented, resulting from a multidimensional approach to the understanding of work. The interpretative perspectives applied made it possible to identify many of the activities that fit into this area of the teacher’s work. Cooperation with parents of pupils with special educational needs thus appears, on the one hand, as an activity, the institutional and structural framework of which is defined by the provisions contained in the normative acts, and, on the other hand, it is a space which brings out the dialogical nature of the teacher’s work. The interpretive potential of the category of cooperation between parents and teachers, considered in the context of the concern to meet the special educational needs of early school pupils, also points to the need to link this area of teacher’s work to the continuous professional development of the teacher, whose creative potential has a significant impact on the shape of relations with parents.W niniejszym artykule poruszono temat współpracy nauczyciela z rodzicami uczniów o specjalnych potrzebach edukacyjnych lokowanej w przestrzeni pracy nauczyciela. Przedstawiono różnorodne uwarunkowania owej współpracy, wynikające z wielowymiarowego podejścia do rozumienia pracy. Zastosowane perspektywy interpretacyjne pozwoliły na wskazanie wielu działań, które wpisują się w ten obszar pracy nauczyciela. Współpraca z rodzicami uczniów mających specjalne potrzeby edukacyjne jawi się więc z jednej strony jako działanie, którego instytucjonalno-strukturalne ramy dookreślają zapisy zawarte w aktach normatywnych, a z drugiej strony jest przestrzenią, która wydobywa dialogiczny charakter pracy nauczyciela. Potencjał interpretacyjny kategorii współpracy rodziców i nauczycieli, rozważanej w kontekście troski o zaspokojenie specjalnych potrzeb edukacyjnych uczniów w wieku wczesnoszkolnym, wskazuje również na konieczność wiązania tego obszaru pracy nauczyciela z nieustannym rozwojem zawodowym nauczyciela, którego potencjalność twórcza istotnie oddziałuje na kształt relacji z rodzicami

W prezentowanym artykule skoncentrowano się na efektach międzynarodowego projektu w perspektywie rozwoju pracowników. The importance of the information society of the vision of the professional life of adolescents

Przedmiotem rozważań niniejszej publikacji jest postrzeganie przyszłości  zawodowej  przez  adolescentów  w  kontekście  przemian cywilizacyjnych. Artykuł stanowi raport z badań realizowanych w ramach pracy magisterskiej. Autorka szukał odpowiedzi na pytanie o powiązania łączące przemiany cywilizacyjne z postrzeganiem przyszłości zawodowej przez młodych ludzi. Badania przeprowadzono na próbie 138 osób w wieku 13-16 lat z wykorzystaniem techniki ankiety. Wyniki badań opisują sposoby pozyskiwania informacji zawodowych przez młodych ludzi, jak również wskazują pewne przyszłe preferencje zawodowe adolescentów.The subject of this publication is the perception of the profession al future by adolescents in the context of civilizational changes. The article is a report on the research carried out as part of the master’s thesis. The author is looking for an answer to the question about the connections between civilizational changes and the perception of the professional future by young people. The study was conducted on a sample of 138 people aged 13-16 using the survey technique. The results of the research describe the ways of obtaining professional information by young people, as well as indicate some future professional preferences of adolescents

Authority as perceived by representatives of generation Z

W artykule podjęto rozważania dotyczące autorytetu i tego, jak osoby z pokolenia Z definiują autorytet. W literaturze przedmiotu można odnaleźć liczne ujęcia definicyjne odnoszące się do autorytetu. W tekście zaprezentowano koncepcje autorytetu. Celem artykułu było przedstawienie postrzegania autorytetów przez przedstawicieli pokolenia Z. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w czwartym kwartale 2022. W badaniu wzięło udział 258 osób. Realizując badanie, zastosowano metodę sondażu, technikę ankiety. Narzędziem był kwestionariusz ankiety, w którym oprócz pytań zamkniętych, poproszono respondentów o napisanie krótkiej wypowiedzi na temat: Co oznacza dla mnie słowo „autorytet”? W niniejszym opracowaniu przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących pytania otwartego. Przedmiotem prowadzonych badań było zdefiniowanie pojęcia autorytet przez przedstawicieli pokolenia Z, z kolei celem – poznanie rozumienia tego terminu przez przedstawicieli tej generacji. Główny problem badawczy został postawiony w pytaniu: Jak przedstawiciele pokolenia Z definiują „autorytet”? Uzyskane wyniki badań wskazują na fakt, że dla pokolenia Z osoba będąca autorytetem to osoba m.in. godna naśladowania, posiadająca określone wartości; wzorzec do naśladowania; osoba godna zaufania; taka, która imponuje, inspiruje; godna szacunku, obdarzona uznaniem itp. Analiza odpowiedzi na pytanie otwarte prowadzi do wniosków, że młodzi mają swoje autorytety, osoby godne naśladowania. Mają też potrzebę posiadania takich wzorów. Można zatem stwierdzić, że we współczesnych czasach nie dochodzi do kryzysu autorytetów, lecz że następuje zmiana ich postrzegania.In this paper a consideration of authority and how Generation Z people define authority was presented. Numerous definitional approaches relating to authority can be found in the literature. The article presents concepts of authority. The aim of the article was to present the perception of authority figures by representatives of Generation Z. The article presents the results of a study conducted in the fourth quarter of 2022. 258 people took part in the study. The survey method, a questionnaire technique, was used in the study. The tool was a survey questionnaire, in which, in addition to closed questions, respondents were asked to write a short statement on the topic: “What does the word authority mean to me?”. This paper presents the results of the research on the open-ended question. The subject of the research was the definition of the notion of authority by representatives of Generation Z. The aim of the research was to find out the understanding of the notion of authority by Generation Z representatives. The main research problem was posed in the question: How does Generation Z define the concept of authority? The research results obtained indicate that, for Generation Z, an authority figure is, among other things, a person worthy of emulation, possessing certain values, a role model, a trustworthy person, one who impresses, inspires, is worthy of respect, endowed with recognition, etc. The analysis of the open-ended question leads to the conclusion that young people have their own authorities, persons worthy of imitation. They also have a need for role models. Therefore, it can be concluded that in modern times we are not dealing with a crisis of authorities, but with a change in their perception

Emotional intelligence of teachers and their openness to new experiences

Funkcjonowanie zawodowe nauczyciela oraz jego efektywność pedagogiczna i sukcesy edukacyjne uczniów w znacznym stopniu zależą od jego inteligencji emocjonalnej. Stąd w kształtowaniu zachowań uczniów i młodzieży, a szczególnie w radzeniu sobie z problemami, ważną rolę odgrywa sposób przeżywania przez nauczyciela świata i jego otwartość na nowe doświadczenia. Umiejętność skutecznego zarządzania emocjami zapobiega bowiem nadmiernemu poziomowi stresu i pomaga radzić sobie ze skomplikowanymi sytuacjami w trakcie lekcji, bez negatywnego wpływu na uczniów. Uznając znaczenie tej problematyki, również w kontekście niniejszej publikacji, podjęłam badania empiryczne. Dążyłam do określenia, w jakim stopniu otwartość na nowe doświadczenia pozwala wyjaśnić fenomen inteligencji emocjonalnej nauczycieli. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują, że jest to zależność dodatnia. Im bardziej nauczyciele są otwarci na nowe doświadczenie, tym bardziej wzrasta ich zdolność adaptacyjna, umiejętność poznawania wartości i ważności bodźców oraz wydarzeń, mobilizująca do myślenia i działania, a także wyrażania swych emocji.The professional functioning of a teacher, their pedagogical effectiveness and the educational success of students largely depend on their emotional intelligence. Hence, in shaping the behaviour of students and young people, and especially in dealing with problems, an important role is played by the teacher’s way of experiencing the world and their openness to new experiences. The ability to effectively manage emotions prevents excessive levels of stress and, moreover, helps to deal with complicated situations during the lesson without negatively affecting the students in general. Recognizing the importance of this issue, also in the context of this journal, I undertook empirical research. I tried to determine to what extent openness to new experiences can explain the phenomenon of teachers’ emotional intelligence. The obtained results indicate that this is a positive relationship. The more teachers are open to new experiences, their adaptability increases accordingly, the ability to learn the value and importance of stimuli and events, mobilizing them to think and act as well as express their emotions
