SAMHC started a new "TREATMENT TEAM" concept that consist of multidisciplinary professionals with expertise in managing mental illness and co-occurring disorders, such as substance use. SAMHC's purpose of a treatment team is to guide a patient towards reaching individual goals and recovery. It provides an opportunity to monitor progress and make timely treatment adjustments.
