PENGARUH MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP KESEHATAN MENTAL MAHASISWA (Studi Kasus di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Katolik Regio Timor Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur)
This study aims to explore the relationship between social media and mental health of students in two pastoral colleges in Timor Region. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the majority of students (69.81%) actively use social media, while most of them (69.88%) have a good level of mental health. Inferential analysis showed a t-value of 3.307 with a significance level of 0.001, which is significantly lower than the general threshold of 0.05. This indicates that there is strong evidence that social media use has a positive and significant effect on the mental health of students in both pastoral colleges. Recommendations from this study include efforts to improve understanding of the risks and benefits of social media use through targeted education. In addition, it is recommended to develop a policy on responsible social media use in the academic environment. Counseling support and resources related to mental health also need to be improved to provide more effective assistance to students in managing their mental health. This study makes an important contribution to expanding the understanding of the impact of social media on mental health in the context of pastoral higher education. The practical implications of these findings are expected to assist educational institutions in developing more holistic strategies to support overall student well-being
MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ANAK USIA DINI 5-6 TAHUN (Studi tentang Pra dan Post Penerapan Metode Labatu di Kelompok Bermain Santo Vincentius A Paulo Kupang)
This research aims to evaluate children's language abilities before and after implementing the Labatu method, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and measure the effectiveness of the method. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the influence of the Labatu method in improving the language skills of young children aged 5-6 years in the Santo Vincentius A Paulo Kupang Playgroup. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, and data analysis. The research results showed that before implementing the Labatu method, children experienced limited vocabulary, difficulty in forming sentences, and low understanding of expressive and receptive language. On the other hand, after effectively implementing the Labatu method, it was proven that children's language skills had significantly increased in terms of vocabulary, speaking ability and understanding of instructions. This method is considered to really support holistic learning, creating a pleasant learning environment and encouraging social interaction as well as the active role of parents and teachers in supporting the language development of children aged 5-6 years at the Santo Vincentius A Paulo Kupang Playgroup
PERANAN KATEKESE DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN UMAT PAROKI SANTO YOHANES PEMANDI NAESLEU TENTANG SIKAP TUBUH DAN TATA GERAK LITURGI DALAM TERANG DESIDERIO DESIDERAVI
Movements in the liturgy are an important part of a celebration of faith. The same or uniform body posture depicts the unity of the people who are gathered to celebrate the liturgical celebration. However, in reality there are still many people who do not follow the correct and appropriate body postures and movements when participating in liturgical celebrations. This problem then became the concern of the universal Church. Pope Francis published the apostolic letter Desiderio Desideravi with the intention of providing instructions or signals for contemplation of the beauty and truth of the Eucharistic celebration. Based on these problems, the formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is: What is the role of catechesis in increasing the understanding of the parishioners of Saint John Pemandi Naesleu regarding body posture and liturgical movements in the light of Desiderio Desideravi? The purpose of writing this thesis is to determine the understanding of the parishioners of Saint John Pemandi Naesleu regarding bodily postures and liturgical movements, to understand the role of catechesis in increasing the congregation's understanding of the attitudes and movements of the liturgy, and to understand the appreciation of the ParishionersSt. John the Bath of Naesleu on bodily postures and liturgical movements in the light of Desiderio Desideravi. The model used in this research is a descriptive model with qualitative research methods. Qualitative research is a research method used to examine objects of social phenomena that occur naturally, where researchers will analyze data obtained from the field based on data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of observations and interviews, researchers found that the understanding of St. Yohanes Pemandi Naesleu regarding body posture and liturgical movements before carrying out catechesis is still very lacking. Even though in participating in the liturgical celebration, all the people are actively involved. However, after the implementation of catechesis, the people were interviewed again, the people's answers showed that the people's understanding had increased and was much better than the previous answers. From the entire description above, it can be concluded that the congregation's understanding of body postures and liturgical movements can increase if catechesis activities are carried out continuously specifically regarding body postures and liturgical movements
TANTANGAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENDIDIK ANAK DI ERA DIGITAL MENURUT AMORIS LAETITIA
This research explores the challenges faced by parents in educating children. This research uses an interview method approach. The aim of this research is to look at parents' teaching patterns towards children in the digital era, especially in terms of the use and use of gadgets. This research study is also to illustrate the values of the Amoris Laetitia document regarding joy in the family with the parenting patterns of children. The research results show that parents are still used to their children's rigid needs, lack of consistent discipline, parents who do not understand the dangers of gadgets, so they do not understand the positive and negative impacts of using gadgets. Parents find it difficult to control the social environment and the needs provided by parents are limited to physical needs but there are no spiritual needs. However, this research is far from perfect and there are many shortcomings, therefore future researchers are advised to conduct research in different locations to see whether the results are consistent or whether there are differences that arise due to differences in culture, geography or social conditions, but focus more on Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially its impact on children's education and parenting patterns
DAMPAK PASTORAL SEKOLAH TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK AGAMA KATOLIK SMP KATOLIK STA. MARIA ASSUMPTA KOTA BARU KUPANG
The aim of this research is to determine the influence of school pastoralism on the character formation of Catholic religious students at St. Catholic Middle School. Maria Assumpta New City Kupang. This study uses a qualitative method. The sample in this study was 30 people consisting of 1 school teacher, 24 teachers and 5 people. The data collection technique used in the research was carried out using interviews and documentation studies, while the data analysis technique in this qualitative research was by using the power collection, data reduction, data display and data ferifying techniques. The results of the research show that school pastoral care has a huge impact in shaping the character of Catholic students, this cannot be separated from the support and assistance of parents. This is shown through the results of research using interview methods with school principals, teachers and parents

The reason this research was conducted was to examine parental parenting patterns and their impact on the spiritual intelligence of children in the St. John the Bath. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a description approach. The data analysis technique in this qualitative research is using data collection, data reduction, and display and data verifying techniques. The research results show that parents in the St. Yohanes Pemandi has not provided a good parenting style to the children. For this reason, parents need to make the home the first place for spiritual education so that children can grow in their spiritual life in the family and have an influence on other people in life in society
PENTINGNYA PELAYANAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING BAGI PESERTA DIDIK PADA TINGKAT SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS (SMA)
Character education is one focus and orientation in the education world system. Therefore, educators should not be apathetic or indifferent to this. School counselors, as individuals whose role is to educate and teach good character to students, must be more responsible for these good goals. Thus, a noble goal can be implemented by students in their reel life in the context of culture and society. The important role of a school counselor lies not only in giving suggestions and suggestions, but also in educating students with full patience and full responsibility for the problems experienced by these students. On an individual basis, school counselors can provide services, such as individual services, individual planning services, and responsive services. Character education is one of the educational movements in schools to strengthen student character through harmonization of heart (ethics) and thought (literacy). Meanwhile, guidance and counseling services are one of the service programs that are fair in implementing programs in schools. Thus it is hoped that the implementation of strengthening character education through guidance and counseling services will be easy to carry out effectively and efficiently, in order to achieve the goal of starting and optimizing the development of character values that exist in students
STUDI TENTANG INTERAKSI SOSIAL ANTARA PESERTA DIDIK DI SDK SANTA MARIA ASSUMPTA KOTA KUPANG
This research was carried out with the aim of examining the social interactions of students at SDK Santa Maria Assumpta, Kupang City. The results of the research show that the collaboration aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 71.11%, the communication aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 78.52%, the empathy aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 58.67%, the problem solving aspect obtained an indicator achievement of 68.52%, and the respect for diversity aspect achieved an indicator achievement of 85.56%. The positive impact of social interaction between students at SDK Maria Assumpta Kupang City is the creation of relationships and relations between students, students can improve their ability to communicate with other people, students are able to manage their emotions when facing challenges or problems in relationships with friends, teachers and school staff, students can transfer positive habits in their social interactions at school to their family life. Meanwhile, negative impacts include misunderstanding and bullying, dominating behavior towards other students who are in lower positions, as well as social restrictions which cause feelings of exclusion and social isolation for affected students. Efforts are made to create social interaction for students at SDK Santa Maria Assumpta, Kupang City, namely that the school needs to pay attention to the importance of aspects of students' social life so that students can develop as good and healthy individuals in carrying out social interactions in the school environment, in within the family and in the community. Apart from that, homeroom teachers need to translate school policies through educational activities that can increase social interaction between students at SDK Maria Assumpta, Kupang City

This research is a library research which aims to analyze and describe teacher competency development strategies in underdeveloped areas. The research method used is descriptive research. The author uses descriptive research by emphasizing the power of analysis of available sources and data by relying on theories and concepts to be interpreted and described which lead to the focus of the discussion. The results of the study found that the condition of education in disadvantaged areas requires more teachers who have pedagogical competence. Teachers who have pedagogical competence will be able to manage learning well, so that the teaching and learning process can take place effectively and the expected goals can be achieved. Therefore, to develop teacher pedagogic competence, an effective development strategy is needed through collaboration between various interested parties, namely the government, schools, teachers and the local community

This paper aims to explore the meaning of work in an entrepreneurial internship from the perspective of the encyclical Laborem Exercens so that it can be the right medium for developing students' abilities, skills and creativity in carrying out entrepreneurial internships. The contents of the encyclical Laborem Exercens explain in depth the meaning of work as a work of service to God. So it is very important for students to understand the meaning of work through entrepreneurial internships in order to fulfill their duties and mission in the world
