Islamic Educational Strategies In Family Parenting: Shaping a Generation With Strong Character
This study aims to explore the implementation of Islamic values in family parenting practices in Wonolopo Village, Karanganyar Regency. Amid the challenges posed by modern influences such as globalization and digital technology, understanding how families uphold traditional Islamic teachings in their parenting strategies is crucial. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and observations of families actively practicing Islamic parenting. The study seeks to identify the core Islamic values integrated into parenting and to examine the challenges families face in maintaining these values. Findings reveal that families prioritize moral education and religious practices as foundational elements of child development, yet struggle to mitigate the adverse effects of modern technology and social change. The study concludes that while Islamic values significantly influence parenting strategies, greater community support and educational initiatives are essential to strengthen these values in contemporary society. By highlighting the importance of Islamic teachings in shaping a generation with strong character, this research offers valuable insights for educators and families navigating the complexities of modern parenting
PAI Learning Transformation in the Digital Era: Implementation of Innovative Digital Media
This research aims to explore the creativity of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in using digital learning media as an innovative effort to overcome learning boredom for students in grades 7-8 at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that media such as smart TV, the Quizizz application, and Microsoft Word are effective in increasing student participation and understanding. Supporting factors for success include adequate school facilities and teacher openness to technology. However, challenges such as a lack of variety in learning methods are still faced. This research underlines the importance of innovation in technology-based learning to create interesting and relevant learning experiences
The Role of Islamic Religious Education in Shaping Islamic Character Among Secondary School Students in Boyolali, Indonesia
This study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education in fostering Islamic character among students at SMPN 2 Boyolali. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education contributes to character building through contextual teaching, habituation, extracurricular activities, exemplary practices, and disciplinary measures. Supporting and hindering factors are also discussed. This study contributes to the discourse on Islamic education's role in character development
Exploring Islamic Education in Families to Support Children’s Developmental Tasks in Elementary School
Islamic religious education in the family plays a crucial role in shaping character and supporting children's development, particularly during the elementary school years. This study aims to explore and analyze the role of Islamic religious education in families in supporting the achievement of developmental tasks among elementary school-aged children. The research employs a qualitative method with an exploratory descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews and participatory observations with six families in Sukajadi District, Bandung, with children aged 6 to 12 years who implement religious education at home. The findings reveal that Islamic religious education in the family significantly contributes to shaping children into individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also morally sound and well-prepared to face life's challenges. Children who receive structured religious education demonstrate strong faith, good character, and high social awareness. This study highlights the importance of designing religious education tailored to children's developmental needs, including daily practice-based learning, moral value instruction, and habitual worship activities. These findings offer practical guidance for parents and educators in integrating Islamic religious education to support children's holistic growth and development. The study also recommends further exploration of the implementation of religious education in broader cultural contexts
Strategi Progresif Dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Peserta Didik: Perspektif Manajemen Pendidikan Islam
Transformasi moral dalam pendidikan di MA Progresif Ummul Quro merupakan proses penting dalam membina akhlak peserta didik, terutama di tengah tantangan moral globalisasi. Pendidikan karakter tidak hanya menekankan aspek kognitif, tetapi juga pengembangan nilai moral dan etika untuk membentuk kepribadian peserta didik. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi progresif yang diterapkan, seperti penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif dan integrasi nilai budaya lokal dalam kurikulum. Metode Flipped Classroom, dialog terbuka, dan pembiasaan perilaku positif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman moral dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator sangat krusial, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk diskusi moral. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat juga berkontribusi dalam pembinaan akhlak peserta didik. Dengan pendekatan holistik ini, diharapkan peserta didik tidak hanya menjadi cerdas secara akademis, tetapi juga memiliki integritas, tanggung jawab sosial, dan karakter yang kuat. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa transformasi moral dalam pendidikan adalah upaya kolektif yang melibatkan seluruh elemen pendidikan untuk membentuk generasi yang beretika dan berakhlak mulia
Development of Tahfiz Teaching Materials In Improving Memory of The Al-Qur'an
This study aims to develop a Juz Amma memorization teaching material that enhances students' Quran memorization skills at SMA IT Al-Fityah Binjai. The main focus is addressing the lack of adequate teaching materials for Quran memorization in the school. The development of this teaching material is expected to improve the quality of Quranic teaching and help students memorize more effectively. The study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, learning tests, and interviews. The study involved two subject matter experts and two media experts for material validation and was tested with class XI students enrolled in the tahfiz program. The results show that the subject matter validation received a score of 90% ("valid" with no revisions), and the media design validation scored 93% ("very valid" with no revisions). The average final validation score was 91.5%, categorized as "Very Valid." Additionally, effectiveness testing using pretest and posttest showed significant improvement, with a t-value of -14.455 and a p-value of 0.000, indicating a highly significant difference before and after using the developed teaching material. The study concludes that the ADDIE-based teaching material effectively improves Quran memorization quality. The very valid validation scores and significant improvement in student performance indicate that the material not only enhances memorization skills but also aids in better understanding of the memorized surahs. This research contributes significantly to Islamic Education by providing practical solutions for developing effective Quran memorization learning materials tailored to students' needs and learning styles, thus supporting Quranic teaching in Islamic schools
PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP STRATEGY IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION
This research aims to explore and analyze effective leadership strategies of school principals in improving the quality of Islamic education in schools. Quality leadership is the key in facing various challenges and dynamics in the education system. The main focus of this research is to identify leadership practices that are successfully implemented by school principals to improve the quality of Islamic education. The research method used is a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews with several school principals who are considered successful in improving the quality of Islamic education in their institutions. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic approach to identify general patterns in the leadership strategies implemented. The research results show that an effective school principal leadership strategy involves active involvement in developing the school's vision and mission, empowering teaching staff, implementing innovative learning models, as well as synergistic efforts with local stakeholders and the community. School principals who are able to build an inclusive work culture and provide ongoing support to staff and students are likely to achieve significant improvements in the quality of Islamic education. These findings provide an important contribution for educational practitioners, school principals and policy makers to understand the key elements in leadership strategies that can improve the quality of Islamic education. Apart from that, these findings can also be a basis for developing more effective leadership training programs in Islamic educational institutions
Flagship Class Management: The Secret Behind Student Achievement
This study explores the strategies behind managing superior classes to enhance student academic performance, including supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as solutions to overcome challenges. Using a qualitative research model, data were collected through participant observations (both formal and informal) and in-depth interviews. The findings reveal several key strategies employed by MTs N 1 Klaten to manage superior classes effectively. These include creating an optimal classroom atmosphere, addressing disruptive behaviors, fostering discipline, and building harmonious relationships between teachers and students. Supporting factors for these strategies include the curriculum, teachers, students, classroom facilities, and class dynamics. Conversely, challenges arise from teacher limitations, student behavior, family environments, and inadequate facilities. Solutions implemented include selecting highly qualified teachers tailored to the superior class programs (e.g., IT and science teachers), conducting a strict student selection process to manage demand, and holding regular meetings with parents. Additional facilities such as science and IT laboratories further support enhanced learning experiences, ensuring the successful implementation of superior class programs.
 
Teacher PAI's Strategy In Growing Social Caring Character Among Junior High School Students
This research aims to determine the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in cultivating social caring character among junior high school students. This research uses a qualitative approach by producing descriptive data. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that PAI teachers at Al-Hidayah Middle School in Medan foster students' social caring character through providing motivation, input and positive direction for the students' future. Obstacles faced include limited time, lack of student discipline, and low student motivation. To overcome these obstacles, PAI teachers collaborate with other subject teachers to provide role models and teaching that strengthens the character of social care, both in the school environment and outside of school. Apart from that, teachers also play an active role in motivating students to improve their social care character. The impact of this research shows the importance of the strategic role of PAI teachers in forming students' characters who care more about each other, so that they can create a school environment that is more inclusive, harmonious, and supports the formation of a young generation who has high social awareness. These findings can be a guide for other schools in designing learning programs that are integrated with strengthening social care characters
Peran Dan Pemikiran Syafi`i Antonio, Adiwarman Karim Dan Ma`ruf Amin Dalam Pengembangan Ekonomi Islam
In order to raise the spirit of Indonesian Muslims, it is very important to present the thoughts of these figures so that their thoughts can become a foundation that is then applied in real terms in the life of the nation and state. Among the figures who can be a source of inspiration are Muhammad Syafi`I Antonio, Adiwarman Azwar Karim and also KH. Ma`ruf Amin. The purpose of this study is to determine the Islamic economic thoughts of the three figures and to compare them. The study was conducted using a qualitative method using library research that was analyzed descriptively analytically. The results of the study show that the roles and thoughts of Syafi'i Antonio, Adiwarman Karim, and Ma'ruf Amin in the development of Islamic economics highlight their contributions in strengthening the foundations of the economy according to Islamic sharia principles. Syafi'i Antonio is known for his practical approach in the business and financial sectors, while Adiwarman Karim developed an in-depth theoretical analysis for Islamic economics globally and nationally. Ma'ruf Amin advocates for fair and inclusive economic policies at the social and political levels of Indonesia. Although their approaches are different, the unity of the three figures' thinking lies in the rejection of usury and an approach that emphasizes justice and blessings in economic distribution. Collectively, the three provide a strong foundation for the development of a sustainable and relevant Islamic economy for Muslims, facing challenges and opportunities in various global and local contexts
