Patrons and Poets of the Sangam Period
The singing ability of Sangam period poets and the manner in which the songs are sung make us mesmerize and lead us towards a prosperous life. During the Sangam period poets used to act as secret assistants to the king. These poets who guides the king, when finds faults in the activities of the king they correct the king and lead them in a good path and the kings too seek their advice. The king's honored them by giving them gold and material things. Sangam literary songs indirectly indicates that the poets are so poor and it is not good for a king if he denies to help and offer gifts to poets. This article points out that Sangam literary hymns emphasize messages such as the respect given to poets by the rulers of the country, and the ability of the poet to specifically point out the wrongdoings of a king and they had a great responsibility to point out and guide them properly

Sustainable Development Goals: Tracing Social Media’s Tamil Citizen Voices in Indian context
As per Human Development Index of 2019 report, India is in the 129th rank. Nearly 28% of the Indian population lives below the poverty line. As per another report from The Lancet journal on healthcare index, India is in 154th position among the 195 countries. According to India’s Annual Status of Education Report 2017, 14% of children in the age group of 14-18 are not enrolled in any school system. Education, health and living standards are the primary factors to measure the quality of life in any social settings. Giving this grim view of social conditions in India, the role of public institutions as well as individual members’ are crucial in lending adequate support to the society to enhance the standings of living conditions. According to a study published in 2011, only 2% of news space were being given to the issues pertinent to development by the leading Indian national newspapers. Many news stories in these 2%, might have appeared due to 'Coups and earthquakes syndrome’ type of events that contained news values of death, disease and disaster. From the perspective of Sustainable Development Goals, the participatory approach of individuals is more meaningful in order to achieve the stated 17 goals as well as 169 targets. Apart from the government’s initiative for the SDGs and substantial fundings from the donor agencies, awareness about the SDGs is essential and ideal for the bottom-up approach towards achieving the development goals and its targets by 2030. Silappatikaram an epic poetry was written by Ilanko Adikal. Silambu and Context (Athikaram) are combined and becomes Silappatikaram. The story of Silmba (Anklet) is therefore called Silappatikaram. It is called the Citizen's Epic because it was sung by ordinary people like Kovalan and Kannaki. It is the book that makes the life of the people very clear. In today’s mechanical world, there is no use of learning some of the exercises only in the name of yoga. According to Tirumoolar, yoga is the purification of the body, mind, action and wound. The yoga practice that encompasses this concept is offered as Attanga Yoga in Thirumanthiram. The human soul has bounded knowledge where the Thiruvarul is performing as instrument to practice Attanga Yoga. According to Thirumoolar, Attaining Attamasithi through Attanga Yoga is not the completion of practicing yoga; Attaining seevanmuthan stage is the final stage where yogis can feel fulfillment through Ataanga Yoga. The soul gets the superior birth as human being through it’s benevolence of previous birth. By the grace of god, soul attains Iruvinaioppu, Malaparipakam and Thiruvarulvizhchi. In that improved stage, Thiruvarul exists as Gnanaguru and leads the soul to Attanga Yoga and the Thava Yoga. This practice also called as Raja-yogam. Through the practice of Attanga Yoga, soul attains the Attama sithis and realizes that the Thiruvarul is the part of Sivam. Lifestyle of Ancient Maruthaa People
The life of the ancient Tamil people belonging to various community groups is based upon five different land forms. Their life is based on the Mountains, later they created new forest land and developed that forest in to Paalai and Neydhal field in their respective highs and lows. Despite the prevalence of gender-based theories of feminism and women language after 19 th century, several female scholars emerged from the Sangam era and sowed the seeds of this idea. The lists of the female poets are Avvaiyar, Perunkopendu, Andal, Karaikalammaiyar and present women language poets. With the changing times and the voices of various feminist rebellions, the social texture that is limited to women has not only changed, but the plight of women has increased on a daily basis. In particular, the definitions of women in the two different contexts of home and work are still unchanged. Although women are projected to have created a free space for education and economic quality, there are still women who accept subjugation as on unwritten rule.
